Switch 2 resolution and frame-rate targets
Nintendo Life reported that CD PROJEKT RED gave the following targets during a livestream. The resolution figures are not described as native output, and the available report does not provide a scene-by-scene measurement method.

| Play mode | Reported resolution target | Reported frame-rate target |
|---|---|---|
| Docked | 1080p | 30–40 fps |
| Handheld | 720p | 30–40 fps |
CD PROJEKT RED’s reported frame-rate target is the same in both modes. On displays compatible with 120 Hz, the game may run closer to 40 fps; that does not mean it runs at 60 fps or holds a guaranteed 40 fps. Nintendo Life’s report on the targets does not provide controlled frame-time traces or measured resolution data.

What gameplay performance looks like
Nintendo Life’s Switch 2 review reports that the reviewer’s experience stayed within the 30–40 fps range, but performance inconsistencies remained. That is a qualitative account from one review, not a lab benchmark or evidence that every area, scene, or play session behaves identically. Read the Nintendo Life Switch 2 review.

The same review noted long loading times, particularly in handheld play, and roughly a one-second delay when opening the map or save menu. These are reviewer observations rather than measured averages across all players.
Visual changes and Switch 2 features
CD PROJEKT RED describes the remaster as improving textures, foliage, lighting, and rendering, and lists ray tracing among its visual improvements. Nintendo Life’s review found fuller foliage and better-looking cutscenes than in the original Switch version, while noting fuzzy or aliased hair visuals. The available review does not establish a controlled, scene-matched comparison with other consoles.
