Progress Bar V12 is a free, dark dashboard template for showing quarterly KPI performance against targets. Its six cards pair a metric value and quarter-over-quarter change with a text status and a progress bar marked at the target—so viewers can see when a result meets or exceeds its goal. Although the title calls it a Bootstrap progress-bar template, Colorlib describes this V12 download as plain HTML and CSS, with no Bootstrap files or JavaScript required.
What’s included in Progress Bar V12?
Colorlib’s V12 example is a six-card board for revenue, customers, retention, pipeline, deal size, and satisfaction. Each card presents four related cues:

- The KPI’s current value
- Its change from the previous quarter
- A worded status
- A glowing progress bar with a tick marking the target
The target tick is the defining detail: it gives the bar a visible benchmark, making performance at or above target easier to spot than a bar that only shows a percentage. Colorlib lists Aigars Silkalns as the author, dates the page September 25, 2026, and states a download size of 534 KB. That file size is the page’s stated figure, not a performance benchmark.

Does V12 require Bootstrap?
No. Colorlib describes the download as plain HTML and CSS, with no jQuery, Bootstrap files, plugins, or JavaScript required. It can be used on its own or added to projects using Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6, where Colorlib says it will look the same. It is therefore a standalone template that can fit into a Bootstrap project, not an official Bootstrap component or a template that requires Bootstrap.

Where does this dashboard fit?
The six-card layout is suited to sales dashboards, OKR boards, and admin panels where several quarterly measures need to be reviewed together. Its value, change, status, and target marker give a reader more context than a progress bar alone. Before adopting it, confirm that the six example KPI categories and the quarterly comparison match the measures your team actually tracks.
How to make KPI progress bars accessible
Do not rely on a bar’s color or glow alone to communicate whether a metric is on track. Keep the status text visible alongside the visual indicator; Colorlib’s accessibility guidance puts it simply: “Pair color with a text label for accessibility — never rely on color alone.”

- Used Book in Good Condition
If you make a bar dynamic, keep its rendered width and its accessible numeric value in sync. For a Bootstrap-style determinate progress bar, update the width and aria-valuenow together as the value changes, and ensure the accessible minimum and maximum match the scale. For animated stripes, respect users’ reduced-motion preference with prefers-reduced-motion: reduce.

For activity with no known completion percentage, a spinner communicates indeterminate work more accurately; a skeleton is for indicating the shape of content while it loads.

How does V12 compare with other progress-bar patterns?
V12 is one option in a broader set of indicators. Colorlib’s collection page, dated September 28, 2026, describes 37 examples: 12 components designed by Colorlib for 2026, 22 curated Bootstrap 5.3 examples, and three other Colorlib snippets that place progress indicators inside larger components. The collection spans linear bars, checkout steps, SVG rings, semicircle gauges, stacked storage bars, skill bars, file uploads, reading progress, indeterminate loading, fundraising, and KPI cards.
Choose a pattern based on what you need to communicate: one measurable percentage, progress through steps, or several categories; whether the progress is determinate; and whether a linear bar or circular indicator suits the interface. For multiple segments in a Bootstrap 5.3 bar, the collection points to the native .progress-stacked pattern. For uploads, it describes using XHR progress events and updating both the bar width and aria-valuenow.

What license applies to V12?
The V12 page states a CC BY 3.0 license. Separately, Colorlib’s collection says its own snippets can be used in personal and commercial projects with the credit link retained, while curated third-party examples may have different terms. Do not assume the V12 license applies to every item in the 37-example collection; check each third-party example at its original source before shipping it.
