Lord’s Mark Industries says it was registered by the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) on September 24, 2026, as a manufacturer of an in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) portfolio. That is a reported regulatory milestone—not MHRA approval or endorsement of the products. The company’s planned UK sales and pathology-laboratory launch are future milestones, and a Great Britain registration does not establish access to Northern Ireland or allied-country markets.
What Lord’s Mark says it registered
A sponsored NDTV Profit report published October 5, 2026 says Lord’s Mark Industries Limited was registered as a manufacturer on September 24 for an IVD portfolio. The report lists four broad categories:
- Haematological cell analysers
- Clinical chemistry analysers
- Buffered sample diluents
- Instrument or analyser cleaning agents
It does not identify product models or trade names, device classes, or specific intended uses. The company’s 2025 IVD catalogue provides company-product context but does not independently establish which products were covered by the 2026 registration.

What MHRA registration does—and does not—mean
MHRA guidance says medical devices, including IVDs, must be registered before they are placed on the market in Great Britain: England, Wales and Scotland. The agency explicitly distinguishes registration from accreditation, certification, approval and endorsement. It is therefore inaccurate to describe the listed products as “MHRA-approved” on the basis of this announcement alone. See the MHRA guidance on registering medical devices to place on the market.
The announcement is sponsored content, and a device-specific Lord’s Mark IVD record was not located in the MHRA Public Access Registration Database (PARD) search reviewed for this article. PARD supports searches by registered manufacturer, device type using GMDN, and device name, but the reported portfolio registration should not be presented as independently confirmed at the device level. The MHRA Public Access Registration Database is the agency’s searchable database.
Which markets the registration covers
The relevant registration requirement described by the MHRA applies to Great Britain. Northern Ireland follows different medical-device requirements, so a claim of UK availability needs to account for that distinction. The MHRA’s UK medical-device guidance explains the geographic differences.

Lord’s Mark’s announcement presents the UK as a platform for expansion into allied markets, but a Great Britain registration does not itself grant market access elsewhere. Each destination country’s requirements must be assessed separately; the announcement does not identify specific allied-country approvals or registrations.

CEO and managing director Dr. Sachidanand Upadhyay said the IVD registration followed a separate registration for the company’s Renalyx haemodialysis system and described the plans as part of a broader diagnostics and healthcare platform. His statement reflects the company’s position; it does not independently verify registration status or future launch dates. A September 29, 2026 Hindustan Times report covered the separate Renalyx development, which should not be confused with the IVD portfolio registration.
