WORK WORK WORK is an upcoming retro pixel-art adventure from Mojiken and Toge Productions. It casts you as a worker at the productivity-obsessed Triquetra Company, where exploration and puzzles lead into a mystery about work, life, and death. The Prologue is described in secondary coverage as a Steam demo, but its exact contents and connection to the full game have not been confirmed on the official store listing reviewed here.
What is WORK WORK WORK?
WORK WORK WORK is a single-player, point-and-click puzzle adventure with pixel-art visuals, exploration, clue gathering, and mystery elements. The official Steam listing describes it as an experience of “the surreal cycle of work, life, and death” and asks whether the player can break out of that cycle. It lists Mojiken as developer and Toge Productions as publisher.

The setting is the Triquetra Company, a technology company that presents itself as committed to productivity and expects employees to meet its standards. You take the role of one of its workers and investigate what is happening inside the company.
What is the game’s premise?
The company’s instructions initially sound like exaggerated corporate motivation: follow directions, give your life to work, obey the Three Directors, and complete your assignments. Its promotional description also mentions connected office rooms, coffee, puzzles, and recurring 15-minute work blocks. That upbeat workplace language takes a sinister turn, with the company’s routine becoming something the player is urged to escape.

These details are part of the game’s fictional promotional framing, not a confirmed account of a completed playthrough. The official description points to a mystery about the workplace and the surreal relationship between work, life, and death; it does not explain the full story or its resolution.
How does the Prologue fit in?
The Prologue is presented in secondary coverage as a Steam demo intended to introduce the game’s puzzle-adventure and mystery elements. That report gives 8 October 2026 as its announced date. The official Steam listing reviewed here still says the game is not available and gives the release date as “To be announced”; it does not confirm the Prologue date or describe the demo’s contents. Check the official Steam listing for current availability.
There is a separate, earlier development milestone: a Steam Community announcement says TEST TEST TEST began as an experimental prototype and that the project had progressed into a full game. That establishes the prototype as part of the game’s development history, but it does not establish that TEST TEST TEST is the Prologue. Nor does the available official information explain whether progress or saves carry over from the Prologue to the full game.
