The Cinèst Core Collection is a pair of luxury consoles designed to house an ultra-short-throw (UST) projector and other home-cinema equipment. Its A1 and E1 models have a motorised opening centre section, remote-adjustable projector positioning and side storage. Those features are reported by What Hi-Fi?; the article does not describe independent testing of the furniture, its projector compatibility or its cooling performance.

What is the Cinèst Core Collection?

It is purpose-built furniture for a UST projector-based home cinema. The console’s centre cabinet opens using a motorised mechanism described as a reverse trapdoor, exposing a platform for the projector. Side cabinets provide storage for additional AV equipment.

Cinèst says the platform can be adjusted remotely for height or depth, and that the Core series remembers preferred positions. These are reported product features, not independently verified performance findings.

Will a UST projector fit in the A1 or E1?

Cinèst says the console works with “basically any UST model,” but What Hi-Fi? does not provide a model-by-model compatibility list or measurements confirming fit. Treat the statement as the company’s claim, not a guarantee that a particular projector will work.

What Hi-Fi? lists the E1 in a 91-inch size and the A1 in 103- and 118-inch sizes. It reports black and brown finishes for both models. The article describes the smaller cabinet at £2,300 and the larger at £3,450; these are reported UK prices, not confirmation of current pricing or availability.

How does the console handle projector ventilation?

The reported design includes built-in ventilation and perforated fabric panels. Cinèst says these help keep the projector at its best; What Hi-Fi? provides no temperature measurements or independent thermal test. For a specific projector, verify its ventilation clearances and operating requirements with both the projector maker and Cinèst rather than relying on a general cooling claim.
