A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11The Amazon Echo Show 10 is an Alexa-enabled smart display with a screen that can rotate toward you during supported activities. On the 3rd Generation, the screen and camera assembly can turn as you move, helping keep the display in view during things such as video calls or video playback. The rotating display is the feature that sets Echo Show 10 apart; motion support depends on the activity or service.
What does Echo Show 10 do?
Like other Echo Show devices, Echo Show 10 combines Alexa voice responses with on-screen visuals. Depending on the feature and service, you can use the display for video, camera feeds, photos, and video calling. Its motion feature can orient the display toward a person after they use the wake word and move during supported activities, including a video call or video playback. Amazon also describes cooking with a recipe on screen and motion-enabled voice games as use cases; that does not mean every Alexa skill or service supports movement.

How does the screen’s motion work?
Amazon says the motion feature uses microphone and camera inputs on the device to estimate your location relative to the display and orient the screen. Amazon states that images and video are not sent to the cloud for this motion feature. Motion can be managed in Motion Preferences or stopped by closing the camera shutter. See Amazon’s Alexa and Alexa Device FAQs for the feature and its controls.

Which Echo Show 10 generation is it?
Echo Show 10 refers to a product name spanning generations, so specifications should be tied to a specific model. Amazon’s safety and compliance information identifies the 3rd Generation as model T4E4AT. For that model, it lists these details:
- Power adapter: 18 V DC, 1.67 A, 30.0 W.
- Wireless connectivity: dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
- Other listed wireless technologies: Zigbee and LoRa.
Amazon says to leave at least 4 inches between the device’s outer diameter and the edge of the countertop, so its rotating body has room to turn. These specifications and placement guidance are for the 3rd Generation, not necessarily every Echo Show 10. Details are in Amazon’s Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) safety and compliance information.
