Samsung’s support documentation describes Bixby Vision separately; it does not establish that Vision Core and Bixby Vision are the same thing. If Vision Core is on your Galaxy device, its purpose and whether it can be safely removed remain unconfirmed by the available official information.
What Samsung confirms about Vision Core
The Samsung Galaxy Store listing for Samsung Vision Core confirms that an app with that exact name exists. The accessible listing does not provide a readable feature description, supported-device list, storage size, requirements, or removal instructions. That means the name alone is not enough to identify its function or decide whether it is needed on a particular phone.

Samsung’s official support material reviewed here does not connect Vision Core to a specific feature or explain its dependencies. In particular, it does not say Vision Core is Bixby Vision.
How Bixby Vision is different
Samsung documents Bixby Vision as a feature available through Camera, Gallery, and Samsung Internet. Samsung says it can analyze a live camera view, a saved or downloaded image, or an image viewed in Samsung Internet. This is information about Bixby Vision, not confirmation of what Vision Core does.

Why Bixby Vision may look different on your Galaxy
Samsung says Bixby Vision requires an internet connection. Its U.S. guide also notes that screens, settings, and accessibility lenses may vary by device, carrier, and software version. Samsung UK says feature availability can vary by device and region. Consequently, a feature shown in one Samsung guide may not appear on every Galaxy phone or in every market.
