Night Plane is a single-player horror simulation about working as a flight attendant on a doomed passenger flight in 1999. Alongside routine service, players must spot shape-shifting entities trying to board. Insider Gaming featured the game in its October 1, 2026 28 Games Later showcase; Steam listed October 26, 2026 as its planned PC release date and showed a downloadable demo available at the time of its listing.
What is Night Plane?
Night Plane puts players on their first day as a flight attendant for Plane Airlines. The flight is set in 1999, and the job initially sounds familiar: welcome passengers, check tickets, serve refreshments and respond to requests. The horror comes from the possibility that some would-be passengers are shape-shifting non-human entities. Players must identify unauthorized visitors and remove them while keeping the flight running.

How does its gameplay and presentation work?

When does Night Plane come out, and is there a demo?
Steam listed October 26, 2026 as the planned release date for the PC version. At the time represented by that listing, the game was not yet available to purchase, but a downloadable demo was shown. Release plans and demo availability can change, so check the Steam listing for current status.

The listing names Liquid Static Studio and Snapping Turtle as developers and New Tales as publisher. It gives minimum PC requirements of Windows 10 or later, a 1 GHz quad-core or similar processor, 4 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 850 or similar graphics card, DirectX 11 and 4 GB of available storage.

What was Night Plane’s showcase appearance?
Insider Gaming included Night Plane in its October 1, 2026 roundup of the 28 Games Later horror showcase. The event announcement had scheduled the broadcast for 3 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. UK. Insider Gaming reported that the showcase featured 28 games, including five world premieres; those figures describe the event overall, not Night Plane specifically.
