Your Cash App PIN is the four-digit code you set for your account. Cash App does not provide a universal default PIN or a way to reveal your existing code. If you have forgotten it, reset it through Cash App’s current in-app flow.
What your Cash App PIN does
Cash App calls this your “Cash PIN.” Its getting-started guide describes it as a four-digit code used for logging in and withdrawing cash at ATMs. If you enable Security Lock, the app can also require a PIN—or face or fingerprint authentication—to unlock the app or authorize a payment. Cash App’s security guidance explains Security Lock and its available protections.

Security Lock is the control that can require authentication; the Cash PIN is the code you set. The PIN is also different from a sign-in code sent to your phone or email. Cash App’s US Terms of Service, last updated June 4, 2026, define the PIN as the code you set as your Cash PIN and say you may reset it in the app.
Is there a default Cash App PIN?
No universal PIN is established in Cash App’s official materials. The PIN is personal to your account and is set by you, so do not try a code found online or use a third-party “PIN finder.”

How to find or reset a forgotten PIN
Cash App’s official materials describe resetting a PIN, but do not establish a current screen-by-screen path or a way to display the existing code. Open Cash App and follow the PIN reset flow currently shown in the app. If you cannot access your account or cannot find that flow, use Cash App’s official support options rather than relying on instructions from an unverified source.
The Terms list in-app support and 1-800-969-1940 as Cash App’s support phone number, and state that it is the only phone number customers can call for support. Support should not need you to disclose your PIN.

Keep your PIN private
Cash App’s guidance is explicit: “Cash App will never ask you for your sign-in code or PIN.” Its Terms also say a representative will never ask for your password, PIN, or full debit card number. Do not share your PIN with someone who contacts you, even if they claim to be support.
