Anthropic announced its Science Blog on March 23, 2026. It is a publication about AI and science—not a new Claude model release—intended to share scientific work, research collaborations and practical ways scientists use AI.

What Anthropic announced

Anthropic described the Science Blog as a place to share work taking place both at the company and elsewhere, collaborations with external researchers and labs, and practical workflows for scientists using AI in research. The announcement is available on Anthropic’s Science Blog launch page.

Why Anthropic says it is launching the blog

Anthropic connects the publication to its stated aim of increasing the pace of scientific progress. To illustrate the kinds of work it has in mind, the company points to mathematicians discovering new proofs, individual researchers running computational analyses that previously required dedicated teams, and biologists identifying functional gene relationships across datasets of millions of cells.

Those are examples in Anthropic’s launch announcement, not quantified findings about the blog’s effect or independently evaluated results. The post gives no named statistic or measured outcome for the launch.

Who the blog is for

The stated audience is scientists interested in using AI in their research. Anthropic also says it will feature work beyond its own organization and collaborations with external researchers and laboratories, making those groups part of the blog’s intended conversation.
