A LinkedIn Showcase Page is a dedicated page connected to an organization’s main LinkedIn Page. It gives a significant brand, business unit, or initiative its own content stream and follower audience. The connection to the parent is important: a Showcase Page is not a separate, unrelated company presence, and it does not inherit the parent Page’s followers.
What is a LinkedIn Showcase Page for?
LinkedIn describes Showcase Pages as a way for an organization to address distinct audiences with focused messaging and build an ongoing relationship with them. Think of the main LinkedIn Page as the organization’s home and a Showcase Page as a dedicated channel for one part of it.

A Showcase Page may fit a substantial sub-brand, business unit, or initiative when it has a distinct audience and enough relevant material to sustain its own publishing stream. LinkedIn does not specify a minimum audience size or posting frequency. Its guidance discourages using a Showcase Page for a short-term campaign or one-time event; for an event, it points organizations toward other advertising products. LinkedIn’s Showcase Page guidance explains the intended use.

The main Page represents the organization broadly; a Showcase Page focuses on a part of it. The pages have separate follower audiences and page-level activity, so creating a Showcase Page does not bring the parent Page’s followers with it. LinkedIn also treats their analytics and notifications separately.
| Area | Main LinkedIn Page | Showcase Page |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Represents the organization as a whole. | Represents a specific brand, business unit, or initiative. |
| Followers | Builds the organization’s broad audience. | Builds a separate audience; parent Page followers are not transferred. |
| Posts, sponsored posts, analytics, and following | Available, according to LinkedIn’s comparison. | Available, according to LinkedIn’s comparison. |
| Job association, Career Pages, and association with a member profile | Listed by LinkedIn as available for a main Page. | Not included in LinkedIn’s Showcase Page feature comparison. |
LinkedIn’s feature comparison also lists activity notifications, featured groups, social media content management, and appearance in relevant LinkedIn search and advertising account results for both Page types. Features and interface details can change; consult LinkedIn’s current Showcase Page feature guidance when a particular capability matters.
Who can create one, and how many can an organization have?
A super admin of the parent LinkedIn Page must create its Showcase Page. LinkedIn allows up to 25 Showcase Pages for a parent Page, and says daily creation limits may also apply to help prevent spam. If LinkedIn displays an error related to a daily limit, its guidance is to wait at least 24 hours before trying again. LinkedIn’s creation instructions describe the process and limit.
How to create a LinkedIn Showcase Page
- Open the organization’s parent LinkedIn Page in its super-admin view.
- Choose the option to create a Page and select the Showcase Page type.
- Associate the new page with the organization’s parent Page, then enter the required details.
- Create the page and review its public details and URL in the admin view.
The person who creates the Showcase Page receives super-admin access. LinkedIn says Showcase Page super admins can edit the page, add or remove admins, and post as the page. They can update details such as the logo, tagline, locations, and custom button, and customize the page URL in the admin view. For the current steps, see LinkedIn’s dedicated Showcase Page instructions. LinkedIn’s general Page-creation guide has a mobile workflow that lists Company and Educational institution, but not Showcase Page; if your interface differs, follow the dedicated Showcase instructions or LinkedIn Help. LinkedIn’s general Page-creation guide describes its broader workflow.
Can you convert a Showcase Page later?
LinkedIn says conversion to a LinkedIn Page can be requested by contacting LinkedIn, with a super admin of both the parent Page and Showcase Page making the request. LinkedIn also warns that Page-type conversion is irreversible and can affect the URL, followers, content, jobs, and affiliations. Review LinkedIn’s current conversion guidance and confirm the consequences with LinkedIn before requesting a change.
