Nomadic Crafting lets you field-craft seven reported items during a raid in ARC Raiders: four types of ammunition, a Grappling Hook, a Zipline and a Shrapnel Grenade. The skill sits late in the Survival tree; its exact recipe costs and any blanket blueprint requirement are not established by the available sources.
Items Nomadic Crafting reportedly unlocks
Two current guides list the same seven items as craftable in the field with Nomadic Crafting:

- Shotgun ammo
- Light ammo
- Medium ammo
- Heavy ammo
- Grappling Hook
- Zipline
- Shrapnel Grenade
This list is reported in guides current to the Frozen Trail update, released October 8, 2026. It is corroborated secondary reporting; the official update notes do not independently enumerate these seven recipes. Beebom and TheGamer provide the item lists.
Where it fits in the Survival skill tree
Beebom describes Nomadic Crafting as a final Survival skill reached after In-round Crafting and Traveling Tinkerer, and reports that selecting it requires an investment of 30 or 40 points in Survival. Embark’s Frozen Trail notes confirm the broader end-of-branch system: players meet a required skill-point investment and can choose up to two of three end skills. The exact Nomadic Crafting threshold comes from Beebom, not the official notes. Beebom’s guide and Embark’s Frozen Trail update notes cover those details.
#1 Best Overall
- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
Earlier skills in the path also add field-crafting options. A community-maintained skill reference associates In-round Crafting with items including Flame Spray, Shaker, Li’l Smoke Grenade, Light Impact Grenade, Fruit Mix, Shield Recharger, Adrenaline Shot, Agave Juice and Bandage. It lists Traveling Tinkerer options including Noisemaker, several grenade traps, Herbal Bandage and Raider Hatch Key. These lists are secondary and may change; check the current in-game skill display before relying on a particular recipe. The community skill reference has the breakdown.
What is not settled about recipes
The consulted sources do not establish the resource costs for Nomadic Crafting’s recipes or a universal rule that every item requires a blueprint. Embark’s update notes mention fixes to recipe-learning notifications for Snap Hook, Blaze Grenade and Crash Mat, but do not say that all recipes in this skill require blueprints. The official notes therefore do not resolve the broader blueprint question.
Rank #2
Defibrillators are also not settled: Beebom says they cannot be crafted in a raid with the skill, while community discussion says crafting may be possible after learning a blueprint. The official notes reviewed do not resolve that disagreement, so do not treat either claim as a definitive rule. Beebom’s guide describes its position.

How to think about its usefulness
The reported unlocks serve three distinct raid needs: ammunition supplies, traversal and explosives. Which matters most depends on what you bring into a raid and what you need once there. Without established recipe costs or comparative gameplay testing, there is not enough evidence to rank the seven unlocks by value.
