Bitdefender Premium VPN offers unlimited VPN traffic, server selection, and use on up to 10 devices at once, according to Bitdefender. Whether it is a good deal is harder to establish: the current US first-term and renewal prices are not available here, and advertised coverage and streaming suitability have not been independently verified. Check the checkout terms and your own device and location needs before subscribing.
What does Bitdefender Premium VPN include?
Bitdefender’s US product page advertises unlimited encrypted traffic, more than 3,000 servers in more than 100 countries, AES-256 encryption, a no-traffic-logs policy, ad and tracker blocking, and streaming use. These are the company’s specifications and claims, not independently audited counts or test results. Bitdefender Premium VPN

The product guide describes the VPN as using Hydra and 256-bit AES, or the highest cipher supported by both client and server, as well as Perfect Forward Secrecy. That is technical documentation of Bitdefender’s stated implementation; it is not a security audit. Bitdefender VPN user guide

Server distance can affect performance, as the guide acknowledges. Although Bitdefender markets the service for streaming, no particular streaming platform, catalog, speed, or region has been verified here. Treat streaming compatibility as something to check for the services and locations you use, not a guaranteed outcome.

How does Premium compare with the standard VPN?
Bitdefender’s support FAQ describes a standard VPN tier with a daily traffic allowance and automatic server selection. Premium removes the daily cap and lets you choose a server. The standard allowance is 200 MB per day per device, except for Small Office Security, which the FAQ gives 500 MB per day. Bitdefender VPN FAQ
| Feature | Standard VPN | Premium VPN |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic | 200 MB daily per device; 500 MB daily with Small Office Security, according to Bitdefender Support | Unlimited, according to Bitdefender |
| Server selection | Automatically connects to an optimal server | Lets you choose a server |
| How to get it | Available through eligible Bitdefender security plans | Can be purchased separately; also included in some bundles |
Premium is most useful if the standard daily limit is restrictive or you need to choose a specific server location. If you already have a Bitdefender security bundle, check whether VPN access is included before buying a separate subscription.

Is Bitdefender Premium VPN a good deal?
There is not enough verified pricing information to call it a good deal or poor value. The US product page’s price and discount fields are dynamic, and the current first-term price, renewal price, taxes, and cancellation or refund terms are not established here. Review the final checkout details rather than judging by a headline discount.
Before paying, check:
- The amount due for the first term and the length of that term.
- The renewal price, renewal frequency, and whether the subscription renews automatically.
- Any taxes and the cancellation or refund terms that apply to your purchase.
- Whether a security bundle you already own includes VPN access.
When comparing VPN subscriptions, compare total cost over the period you expect to use the service, simultaneous connections, server locations you actually need, independently tested speed and streaming compatibility, and the quality of privacy documentation. Available evidence does not support ranking Bitdefender against competitors for measured speed or audited privacy.
