TCG Card Shop Simulator combines two ideas: running a trading-card shop and playing its in-world Tetramon card game. The Steam listing describes a single-player business simulation; the developer’s 1.0 update announcement adds playable matches, deck building and tournaments. That makes the game’s appeal easier to define, but available source material does not establish how well its systems feel over a long play session.
What do you do in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
The core premise is managing and growing a card shop. You stock trading-card products, sell booster packs, earn money and expand the business, according to the Steam store listing. In practical terms, the shop is the business-management side of the game: products are inventory to sell, and sales fund growth.

Opening packs and collecting cards connect that business loop to the game’s fictional card game. The important distinction is that the merchandise and shop systems are not the whole premise: after the 1.0 update, Tetramon can also be played as a card game.
Can you play the card game?
Yes. OPNeon Games’ 1.0 update announcement presents Tetramon as playable, with deck creation and tournaments among the update’s features. The developer says a match takes approximately 3–5 minutes and can be played with a waiting customer while the shop continues operating.
#1 Best Overall
- TCG Playing Cards Sim Game 3d
- Purchase and Selling Your Dream Cards
- Huge Cards Collection Store
- Run Cards Business
This makes Tetramon a distinct activity within the shop simulation, rather than just a fictional game represented by packs on the shelves. The announcement establishes that the feature exists and describes its intended timing and context; it does not, by itself, show how balanced or compelling the card game is.
What did the 1.0 update add?
The developer’s announcement describes a broad expansion of the game, including:
- A playable Tetramon trading-card game.
- Deck creation and tournaments.
- New card expansions.
- Additional shop systems and quality-of-life changes.
These additions give the game two complementary tracks: build the shop and engage with the card game its products are based on. The sources establish the feature list, but not whether the new systems resolve into a well-paced or consistently rewarding progression.

Is TCG Card Shop Simulator single-player?
Yes. The official Steam listing classifies TCG Card Shop Simulator as single-player. The sources cited here do not establish co-op or multiplayer availability, so the 1.0 tournament feature should not be taken as evidence of online multiplayer.

- Protect Your Business – Use cameras, alarm antennas, and security guards to protect your store from shoplifters.
- Multiplayer – Team up with up to four friends to stock, serve customers, make deliveries, and grow your supermarket.
Is it worth playing on PC?
The clearest case for the game is its combination of shop management, pack opening and a playable in-world TCG. If that particular mix appeals to you, the 1.0 feature set offers more than a shop-themed inventory loop. The available evidence is not enough to give a hands-on verdict on whether serving customers and expanding the store remain engaging, or to assess controls, technical performance, balance or long-term replay value.
Popularity figures offer context, not a substitute for that assessment. In September 2026 coverage of the 1.0 release, GamesRadar reported 4 million players and 96% positive Steam reviews. Those are historical figures reported by GamesRadar for that period, not a current player count or live review score.
How did the game reach Early Access?
GamesRadar reports that developer Ding Shen Sia began the project after burning out from solo mobile-game development. The outlet attributes this statement to Sia: “TCG Card Shop Simulator was made because I was bored out of my mind after burning out from solo mobile game development back in 2023. I felt aimless and wasn’t sure what to do with my life,” GamesRadar also reports that the game entered Steam Early Access on September 15, 2024.
