There is no single like-for-like substitute for CoreWeave: investors can seek AI infrastructure exposure through data-center operators such as IREN, diversified cloud providers, or suppliers such as NVIDIA. Those businesses earn money in different ways, so compare their operating capacity, customer mix, financing and current valuation rather than treating them as interchangeable AI stocks.
Which kinds of stocks offer exposure to AI infrastructure?
CoreWeave describes itself as an AI-focused cloud provider. Its FY2025 Form 10-K identifies hyperscalers that sell general-purpose cloud services as its primary competitors. That points to three different routes into the infrastructure buildout—not a definitive list of direct peers.

| Exposure route | Example or scope established by the cited disclosures | What the business provides | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Specialist AI cloud or data-center operator | IREN | Compute capacity or data-center infrastructure intended to serve AI workloads | Check what is operating now versus planned or under construction. |
| Diversified hyperscaler | CoreWeave identifies this category as its primary competitive set; the cited summary does not name individual providers. | General-purpose cloud within a broader business portfolio | AI infrastructure is one exposure among a wider range of businesses. |
| Infrastructure supplier | NVIDIA | Products used to build AI infrastructure | Supplier demand is not the same as revenue from operating a cloud or data center. |
The examples are not a complete peer ranking. Company disclosures and public-market status can change, so confirm current filings and listing information before making an investment decision.

IREN is an example of the operator route: its exposure is tied to AI infrastructure and data-center capacity rather than being simply a bet on a chip supplier. Its FY2026 Form 10-K describes customers spanning hyperscalers, frontier labs, AI developers and enterprises. That customer mix does not, by itself, establish how much revenue comes from any one customer or category.

Separate planned capacity from operating capacity
IREN’s filing says a partnership with NVIDIA announced in May 2026 is intended to support deployment over time of up to 5 GW of AI infrastructure across IREN’s global data-center pipeline. “Up to 5 GW” describes the scale of a planned buildout, not capacity already deployed or generating revenue. Assess progress against later company disclosures rather than treating the full figure as current operating capacity.
Consider the execution behind the plan
A capacity plan only translates into operating infrastructure if the necessary sites, power and data-center facilities can be delivered. NVIDIA’s FY2027 Q2 Form 10-Q identifies land, power and data-center shell availability as important factors in infrastructure buildout. For an operator, review project timelines, capital commitments and financing alongside announced capacity.

What does a hyperscaler stock offer instead?
A diversified hyperscaler provides cloud exposure within a broader portfolio, rather than the more focused AI-cloud positioning CoreWeave describes for itself. This can mean AI infrastructure is less concentrated in the overall business, but the cited CoreWeave filing summary does not provide a company-by-company comparison or identify individual hyperscalers. Check each provider’s current filings for cloud growth, AI-related investment, customer demand and capital spending before comparing specific stocks.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhy consider NVIDIA—and why it is not a direct substitute?
NVIDIA’s FY2027 Q2 Form 10-Q describes products for AI infrastructure and a business model involving selected AI-cloud partners. That gives investors supplier exposure to infrastructure demand; it does not make NVIDIA a cloud operator like CoreWeave or a data-center operator like IREN. A supplier’s results depend on demand for its products and related business, while an operator’s exposure is tied more directly to selling compute or facility capacity.

What CoreWeave’s reported growth does—and does not—tell you
In its FY2025 shareholder letter, CoreWeave reported $5 billion in annual revenue in its first calendar year as a public company and 168% year-over-year growth. These are company-reported figures for the stated period, not an independently established comparison with IREN, a hyperscaler or NVIDIA. They describe past performance, not a forecast or proof that a particular stock is attractively valued.
