It gives access to a rotating selection of games while the benefit is active; titles and availability can vary by time and location. If a game leaves that selection, subscription access to it ends. That is different from losing a game you purchased.
What Prime members get with Luna Standard
Amazon describes Luna Standard as a Prime benefit that provides access to certain subscription content. The available games rotate, and the selection may change over time and by location. Amazon’s Luna Terms of Use say: “The subscription services, the extent of available Subscription Digital Content, and the specific titles available through subscription services, may change over time and by location without notice (except as may be required by applicable law).” The terms were last updated June 10, 2026.

Do you own games you play through Luna with Prime?
No. Access through Luna Standard is subscription access, not a purchase that gives you permanent Luna access. Amazon’s standard EULA describes digital content as licensed, and its terms allow publishers to change or discontinue availability. Playing or adding a rotating title to your Luna library does not establish a perpetual license to keep playing it if it leaves the subscription selection. What happens when a Luna game leaves?
When a title leaves the subscription selection, you lose access to it through that subscription. This is an end to subscription access, not the deletion of a separately purchased copy. If you own the game through another store or platform, that purchase is governed by that seller’s and publisher’s terms rather than Luna Standard.
Amazon’s search listing for The Jackbox Party Pack 7 showed “no longer available on Luna” and a “Leaving Luna” date of 06/10/2026. Treat that as a dated example, not a notice of a future departure or a statement about the current catalog.

What about add-ons?
Some add-ons on Luna depend on an active subscription that includes the base game. If that game leaves subscription content, access to those add-ons through Luna may also end. Amazon says access may return if the game comes back and the qualifying subscription is still active. In some cases an add-on may work outside Luna through a linked publisher account, subject to that publisher’s terms; this is not guaranteed for every title or add-on. Where you can play
Luna works on supported devices, which can include Fire TV, compatible Samsung smart TVs, and web browsers. The Luna Controller is an optional input device, not proof of a universal hardware requirement and not a way to preserve access to a game that leaves. Compatible-device requirements can change, so check Amazon’s device compatibility page for your setup. Luna is available only in supported territories, and both offers and catalogs can vary by location.
