The large inner screen and multitasking pitch
vivo positions the X Fold6 as a large-screen multitasking phone with an AI-oriented workflow. Its Europe product page lists an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display. Those are manufacturer specifications and positioning, not independent proof that it improves productivity. At the 26 June launch, vivo vice president Huang Tao described the ambition this way: “折叠屏的第一次进化，是展开一块大屏幕，折叠屏的第二次进化，应该是展开一个AI工作台，完成一个复杂大任务。” In translation: “The first evolution of foldable screens was unfolding a large display; the second should be unfolding an AI workstation to complete a complex task.” vivo’s launch announcement presents that as the company’s vision, not an independently established result.

Battery and charging
For Europe, vivo lists a 6,900mAh typical combined battery capacity, up to 80W wired charging and up to 40W wireless charging. The manufacturer says charging power varies with use; its first-generation vivo/iQOO 50W vertical wireless chargers are incompatible. These specifications may appeal to people who value capacity and charging options, but they do not by themselves establish real-world battery life.

Cameras and an optional teleconverter
The camera proposition includes compatibility with the vivo ZEISS Gen 2 teleconverter, according to TechRadar’s review, and Spain launch coverage reported a photography bundle. The add-on may matter to photography enthusiasts, but check the exact accessory model, compatibility and bundle contents in your market before treating it as included.
One reviewer’s experience
TechRadar’s reviewer said they used the X Fold6 as their main phone for a week. They praised its cameras, battery and multitasking, while noting slower transitions when unfolding, background-app behavior that could delay notifications, and a visible but minimal crease. That is one reviewer’s account, not a broad or controlled assessment.

Prices and configurations vary by country and can change. vivo’s China listing shows four configurations, while Europe’s official page lists a different configuration. Spain coverage published on 1 October 2026 reported local prices and a launch promotion:

If you are weighing the X Fold6 against another foldable, compare the details that affect daily ownership rather than relying on a headline ranking:
- Price, configuration and availability in your country.
- Folded dimensions and weight, alongside the inner- and cover-screen sizes.
- Camera hardware and whether an optional teleconverter is compatible or included.
- Battery capacity, charging options and accessory compatibility.
- Multitasking behavior and software experience.
- Local warranty, repair access and software-update support.
vivo’s China listing gives folded thickness as 9.4–9.9mm and weight as 228–235g depending on color; unfolded thickness is 4.4–4.8mm. Treat those as official China-listed measurements, and check the specifications for the exact regional model you are comparing. No representative poll result or controlled overall comparison establishes whether the X Fold6 is right for most buyers; your answer depends on how its trade-offs fit your priorities and local availability.
