Website Menu V05 is a free sidebar vertical-menu snippet from Colorlib, described by its publisher as responsive for mobile and desktop. Colorlib provides a preview and download page; the page’s dates and license deserve a quick check before you reuse it.
What Website Menu V05 is
Colorlib presents V05 as a “beautiful, mobile-like and responsive free sidebar vertical menu” intended to keep a site clean and minimal. Its description says the menu works on mobile and desktop without needing to change its structure much. Those are the publisher’s claims, not results from an independent device or browser test.

Which version should you choose?
The source page does not provide a feature-by-feature comparison or establish that V05 is better than V04 or V06. Use the previews and downloaded files to assess the differences for your site rather than relying on the version numbers alone.

Dates and license to check
The Colorlib page is dated January 27, 2021 and has a byline for Rok Krivec. Its template details separately list Colorlib as the author, “Released: 2025,” and a CC BY 3.0 license. The page does not explain the difference between its post date and release label, so treat them as separate claims rather than assuming one is a correction of the other.
Before incorporating the snippet, read the current download and license terms. The page lists CC BY 3.0, but does not explain how attribution should be handled or confirm that every linked asset has the same terms.
