How to save a full webpage with Evernote Web Clipper
- Open the page you want to save in a browser where the Evernote Web Clipper extension is available.
- Launch the extension from the browser.
- Choose Full page as the clip type if you want the entire page’s static layout. Choose Article or Simplified article instead if your goal is the main text or a less cluttered reading copy.
- Organize the clip before saving by selecting a notebook, adding tags, or adding a comment as needed.
- Save the clip to Evernote and check the resulting capture for missing or misformatted content.
Evernote’s settings documentation lists these capture modes as default-action options, but the available settings can differ by browser. If you do not see the same controls, check the options exposed by your browser’s version of the extension.
Why a clip may be incomplete or misformatted

- The extension behaves inconsistently: Evernote’s troubleshooting guidance suggests allowing third-party cookies, temporarily disabling ad-blocking extensions, clearing the browser cache, and signing out and back in.
