First check whether Wachete recorded the alert. Open Wachete’s Notifications section and the affected monitor’s history: if the event appears in Wachete, check the selected email address and mail filters; if it does not, check the monitor’s page loading and notification condition. This separates an alert-generation problem from an email-delivery problem.
1. Check whether Wachete recorded the notification
Open Wachete’s Notifications section, which lists alerts triggered for monitors. You can also use Wachete’s REST API documentation to list notifications, optionally filtered by monitor ID.

- Notification is listed: Wachete recorded a triggered alert. Continue with the recipient and inbox checks below.
- Notification is not listed: Focus first on the monitor’s recent activity, page loading, and configured alert condition.
2. Check the email address and monitor destination
Wachete treats account email addresses and monitor notification destinations as separate settings. Its FAQ says to add an address to your profile before selecting it for monitor notifications.

- Edit the affected monitor and review its advanced notification settings. Make sure the intended address is selected.
- If the monitor is managed through the API, check
notificationEndpoints. Wachete documents an Email endpoint type; an empty list defaults to all email endpoints.
3. Search your inbox and filtered folders
Wachete’s FAQ identifies its sample notification as coming from [email protected] with the subject Wachete notification. Search for both, then inspect spam, junk, quarantine, and any user-created folders or rules.

The FAQ identifies the sample sender and subject but does not provide provider-specific allowlisting instructions. If the message is quarantined or filtered, use your email provider’s controls to review that decision; do not assume that a particular allowlist procedure applies to every provider.
4. If no alert was recorded, check the monitor
Open the monitor and review its latest check, preview, and alert condition. Confirm that the monitored page loads and that the content you expect Wachete to watch is still present. Also check that the configured condition matches the event: a page change will not necessarily trigger a notification if the monitor is watching different content or a different kind of change.

5. Choose another notification channel if email is not practical
Wachete documents phone notifications, chat integrations, mobile push, and RSS for monitor changes or triggered notifications. The best fit depends on where you need to see the alert:

6. Contact Wachete if the alert and email do not match
If Wachete lists a notification but the configured recipient cannot find the email, or if the monitor appears to have missed an expected event, contact Wachete at [email protected]. Include the monitor name, approximate event time, whether the notification appears in Wachete, and the recipient address. Never include your password or API key.
Wachete’s published pages do not establish an email-delivery log or a current incident-status page, so support may be needed to diagnose a delivery issue on Wachete’s side.
