कौन-सा Vultr तरीका चुनें?

Ubuntu पर OBS से stream सेट करें
1. Cloud Compute instance तैयार करें
- Vultr में Ubuntu Cloud Compute instance deploy करें। Vultr का OBS tutorial अपनी शुरुआती configuration के तौर पर कम-से-कम 2 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB storage और 3 TB bandwidth सुझाता है। आपकी resolution, encoding load और media storage के मुताबिक जरूरत अलग हो सकती है।
- SSH से non-root sudo user के रूप में जुड़ें और system packages update करें। Vultr का tutorial इसी आधार पर FFmpeg और OBS स्थापित करने की प्रक्रिया बताता है।
- OBS को GUI desktop session में खोलें। इस तरीके में OBS को उसी server पर चलाना और संचालित करना workflow का हिस्सा है।
2. YouTube stream और key तैयार करें
- YouTube Studio में live stream बनाएं और encoder के लिए server तथा stream key प्राप्त करें। YouTube की encoder सहायता के अनुसार RTMP/RTMPS ingest उपलब्ध है और RTMPS की सिफारिश की जाती है। YouTube encoder settings और bitrate मार्गदर्शन
- OBS में YouTube service चुनें, उचित server/destination चुनें और stream key दर्ज करें। Stream key को password की तरह गोपनीय रखें—इसे सार्वजनिक code, screenshot, terminal recording या logs में न आने दें।
- OBS में video और audio source जांचें। पहले private या unlisted test करें और YouTube Live Control Room में preview, audio तथा stream health देखें।
3. वीडियो और encoding सेट करें
OBS में resolution और frame rate चुनें, फिर bitrate तथा keyframe interval सेट करें। YouTube की H.264 recommended bitrate resolution और frame rate पर निर्भर करती है:

ये YouTube की encoder guidance में दिए गए सुझाए गए मान हैं, किसी Vultr plan पर किए गए benchmark नहीं। Vultr के OBS tutorial में 720p30 के लिए 1.5–4.5 Mbps और 1080p30 के लिए 3–6.5 Mbps जैसे अलग OBS setup ranges हैं। दोनों को एक जैसा न मानें: encoder सेट करते समय YouTube की वर्तमान ingest guidance को प्राथमिकता दें और वास्तविक stream test करें।

- YouTube की encoder सहायता RTMP/RTMPS ingest, H.264/H.265/AV1 video, AAC या MP3 audio, अधिकतम 60 fps, CBR bitrate encoding और 2 सेकंड का सुझाया keyframe interval बताती है। Keyframe interval 4 सेकंड से अधिक न रखें।
- कुल video और audio bitrate उपलब्ध upload bandwidth से अधिक न हो। YouTube upload bandwidth में 20% headroom रखने की सलाह देता है; उदाहरण के लिए 8 Mbps की कुल stream bitrate के लिए कम-से-कम 10 Mbps उपलब्ध upload क्षमता रखें।
- बैंडविड्थ पर्याप्त होना CPU क्षमता की गारंटी नहीं है। Vultr के अनुसार CPU उपयोग अधिक हो या frames drop हों तो resolution कम करें या अधिक vCPUs वाला plan चुनें।

Vultr Broadcaster App से browser में OBS चलाएं
- Vultr Marketplace से Broadcaster instance deploy करें। Vultr guide में दिए generated access details सुरक्षित रखें।
- यदि domain या subdomain से browser access चाहिए, तो उसे instance की ओर DNS से point करें और guide के अनुसार access सेट करें। Broadcaster guide domain उपयोग करते समय TLS certificate लगाने और RTMP जैसे critical port की पहुंच भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित रखने की सलाह देती है।
- Browser में OBS खोलें और YouTube destination तथा stream key सेट करें। Key को browser screenshot, साझा session या public recording में उजागर न करें।
- अपनी prerecorded files server पर upload करें। एक file को OBS Media Source में जोड़कर Loop सक्षम करें; कई files के लिए VLC Video Source playlist बनाएं।
- OBS preview और YouTube Live Control Room में stream जांचें, फिर लगातार चलाने के लिए सही source और playlist सक्रिय रखें।

लंबे समय तक चलाने से पहले reliability जांचें
Vultr के Ubuntu OBS tutorial में reconnect व्यवहार के लिए Advanced में retry delay 3 सेकंड या कम और maximum retries 1000 या अधिक रखने की सलाह दी गई है। ये OBS के reconnect प्रयासों की settings हैं, server, network या YouTube की uptime की गारंटी नहीं।

- सतत unattended operation को बिना निगरानी के guaranteed न मानें। जरूरत के मुताबिक server load और YouTube पर आने वाले feed की जांच करें।
- CPU उपयोग बढ़ने या dropped frames पर resolution कम करें अथवा अधिक vCPUs वाला instance चुनें।
- OBS reconnect करता रहे लेकिन feed वापस न आए, तो OBS output, Vultr instance/network और YouTube Live Control Room में stream health अलग-अलग जांचें।
24/7 stream और YouTube replay अलग चीजें हैं
YouTube Help कहता है कि 12 घंटे से कम live streams अपने आप archive हो सकती हैं; 12 घंटे से अधिक लंबी stream शायद capture न हो। इसलिए Vultr पर encoder को लगातार चलाने से पूरी दिन-भर की replay एक वीडियो के रूप में मिलना निश्चित नहीं होता। यदि पूरी replay दर्शकों के लिए जरूरी है, तो छोटे scheduled sessions की योजना बनाएं और अलग local recording workflow पर विचार करें। YouTube स्थानीय archive backup रखने की भी सिफारिश करता है। YouTube: Archive live streams

Stream key, server access और content rights सुरक्षित रखें
- Ubuntu workflow में SSH के लिए non-root sudo account इस्तेमाल करें। stream key केवल encoder में रखें और सार्वजनिक जगहों पर साझा न करें।
- Broadcaster को domain से खोलने पर TLS certificate लगाएं; critical RTMP port की पहुंच भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित रखें, जैसा Vultr की guide सलाह देती है।
