No VPN can be confirmed as working with ViX from the official material available in October 2026. ViX’s help pages do not mention VPN use, and the two VPN providers with published streaming guidance do not name ViX. No hands-on playback tests were run for this guide, so it does not offer a ranked “best five.” Instead, it sets out where ViX is licensed to operate, what its Premium tier is limited to, which devices it supports, and what VPN providers actually document, so you can judge a provider on evidence rather than marketing.
Where ViX is available
ViX’s Help Center, in its answer to “In which countries is ViX available?”, states: “ViX is available in Mexico, United States, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Bolivia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Venezuela and Uruguay.” That is 19 countries and territories as listed on the page checked in October 2026.

Treat that list as the set of markets where ViX says it operates, not as a promise that every title plays in each one. ViX’s own travel guidance notes that available content can change by location.

Travelling between ViX markets
ViX’s help article “¿Si viajo a otro país puedo seguir viendo ViX?” says viewers who travel to one of its 19 markets can keep watching, though the catalog may vary by location. That guidance covers movement between supported markets only. It says nothing about watching from an unsupported country, and ViX’s published help pages do not address VPN use.

Premium eligibility and rights
ViX describes Premium as including ViX original series and movies plus select sports. Its help article “What content can I watch with this feature?” limits Premium eligibility to residents of the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. The rule is written around residence, so a viewer’s current location does not change whether they qualify.
Some third-party titles may stay unavailable even for eligible subscribers, because of rights and regional restrictions.

Supported devices
ViX’s help article “On which devices can I watch ViX?” lists Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and other platforms. For a television, that means a Fire TV device such as a Fire TV Stick is a supported class of hardware. The list shows where the ViX app is offered; it does not show that a VPN will work on that device. No specific Fire TV model was tested for this guide.
What VPN providers document
Only two providers in the sources available for this guide publish streaming support material: ExpressVPN and Surfshark. Neither provider’s published streaming guidance names ViX, so the comparison below covers what each one documents and nothing more.

Why a stream can fail through a VPN
Surfshark’s support article states: “Streaming services block individual IP addresses.” Its general advice when a stream fails is to try another server or city in the same country. That is provider troubleshooting for streaming services in general, not evidence about ViX.
If ViX shows an error, its help article “Me aparece el mensaje código ui:114” explains that content or the service may be unavailable because of local rights or service availability. Work through these checks in order:

- Note which country your VPN server is in, and check that country against ViX’s list of 19 countries and territories.
- If you are using Premium, confirm that you meet the residency rule for the Premium eligible markets.
- Confirm that the ViX app is current and that your device appears on ViX’s supported device list.
- If the stream still fails, switch to another server in the same country using your VPN app’s server list, following the provider’s general advice.
- If the ui:114 message persists, treat it as a possible rights or availability restriction rather than a connection fault, and do not assume a VPN will resolve it.
How to judge a VPN for ViX
Use these criteria when comparing providers:
- Server locations: Does the provider publicly list servers in the country you need? A location list alone does not establish that ViX will play.
- Device apps: Is there a native app for the TV, phone, or computer you will use? Check the provider’s device list rather than assuming support.
- Troubleshooting: Does the provider publish guidance for blocked IP addresses and connection problems?
- Terms: Read both the VPN provider’s terms and ViX’s terms. ViX ties unavailable material to territorial availability and rights, and using a VPN to watch content licensed for another country may breach a service’s terms.
- Evidence quality: Separate a provider’s marketing claims from official device support and from independent testing. None of the official sources reviewed here include a ViX-specific test.
A provider that meets every criterion above has shown it can be evaluated. It has not shown that ViX will work through its servers.
