The Xiaomi 17T Pro is the paper fit for a larger display, an advertised 5x Leica telephoto camera or wireless charging. Those specifications do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use; availability, price and support in your country may be the deciding factors.

Which phone is easier to live with?
Choose by screen size
The vivo’s listed 6.59-inch display is the smaller option; the Xiaomi’s 6.83-inch screen gives you more viewing area. That makes the vivo the more natural specification-based choice if you prefer a less expansive handset, while the Xiaomi may appeal if a larger screen matters more. The listed diagonal alone does not establish overall phone dimensions or one-handed comfort.
Interpret the refresh-rate claims carefully
Both brands advertise displays capable of up to 144Hz, but vivo explicitly limits 144Hz availability to some games and says it is not available in non-game applications. Xiaomi’s global page lists a 144Hz display without the same qualification in the cited material. Neither claim means every app or use mode will run at that rate.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What do the camera specifications tell you?
Rear cameras
vivo lists three rear cameras: a 50MP main, 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide, alongside Zeiss camera features in its product overview. Xiaomi highlights a Leica triple-camera system, including a 50MP main camera and 5x telephoto. The advertised 5x telephoto makes the Xiaomi worth considering if that stated zoom range is a priority; the vivo’s listed ultrawide and telephoto provide a different set of options. Megapixel counts, branding and zoom specifications do not show which phone produces better photos, and the cited pages do not provide a matched camera test.
Selfies and video calls
vivo specifies a 50MP front camera with autofocus. That is a concrete reason to consider the X300 E if front-camera autofocus is important. The cited Xiaomi pages do not state a comparable front-camera specification, so there is not enough information here for a direct front-camera comparison.

How do battery capacity and charging compare?
vivo lists a 7200mAh typical-capacity battery and a separate rated capacity of 7015mAh. Xiaomi lists a 7000mAh typical-capacity battery. The stated typical capacity is higher for the vivo, but capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer: no matched endurance results are available in the cited manufacturer material.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Xiaomi lists 100W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging. Those advertised wattages do not establish real-world charge times. If wireless charging is essential, Xiaomi is the only one of these two for which the cited specifications list it.

What storage and China pricing are listed?
Both phones have a listed 12GB RAM configuration. vivo’s China page lists 256GB and 512GB storage; Xiaomi UK’s specifications add a 1TB option. The extra listed Xiaomi capacity may matter if you want more built-in storage, but confirm that the configuration is sold in your market.
For China, vivo lists recommended retail prices of CNY 4,799 for the 12GB+256GB X300 E and CNY 5,299 for the 12GB+512GB version (vivo China, 2026). These are China recommended prices, not current offers or comparable local prices elsewhere. The cited Xiaomi pages do not establish a directly comparable price for your market, so use local listings to compare the same storage tier, taxes and warranty coverage.

Will either model work in your country?
The regional evidence is asymmetric. vivo’s cited specifications identify the X300 E as China model V2612A and list China pricing; the reviewed official material does not establish availability outside China. Xiaomi has global and UK product pages, but those do not guarantee local stock or identical configurations. Xiaomi’s UK specification page also cautions that connectivity and network bands can vary with regional availability and local operator support.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider the vivo X300 E if you want the smaller listed screen, value its higher stated typical battery capacity, or specifically want a listed 50MP autofocus front camera—and can confirm local availability and support.
- Consider the Xiaomi 17T Pro if you prefer the larger display, want Xiaomi’s advertised 5x Leica telephoto, need the listed wireless charging, or want the 1TB storage option where it is sold.
- Decide locally, not from headline specs alone if price, warranty or network compatibility is decisive. Compare the exact regional models and like-for-like storage configurations.
There is no specification-only basis here for declaring a universal winner in camera quality, performance, battery life or overall value. The chipset details published for Xiaomi do not provide a matched performance comparison, and no independent comparative testing is established by the cited sources.
