What “global” means for the vivo X Fold6
vivo announced the X Fold6 in China on June 26, 2026, and said sales there would begin July 1. The company subsequently issued global-launch materials, and a report dated October 1 said the phone was available to buy in Spain from that day. These milestones establish a rollout beyond China, not simultaneous availability in every market. The available information does not provide a complete country-by-country launch schedule.

Availability, configurations and network support can vary by market. In particular, the published cellular-band specifications are for the China model, identified as V2545A; they are not a guarantee that the phone will work with every carrier elsewhere. Does it keep the classic tall foldable design?
Yes, in the practical sense of a book-style foldable with a taller cover screen. vivo’s China specifications list a 6.51-inch outer display with a 20.31:9 aspect ratio. Open the phone and the inner screen measures 8.02 inches, with a 4:3.69 ratio. “Classic tall” is a description of that form, not an official vivo category; these dimensions do not by themselves establish how the design compares with an earlier generation.

The China specification page lists the folded body at 157.16 mm tall and 74.26 mm wide. It gives folded thickness as 9.4–9.9 mm depending on color, weight as 228 or 235 g, and unfolded width as 145.66 mm. These are China-market specification figures, not independently measured results.
Key specifications and market differences
The X Fold6 is built around two AMOLED displays and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The China specification page lists up to 120 Hz refresh, 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM, and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. The Spain report describes a 12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage configuration.

The battery figures are not interchangeable: vivo’s China page gives typical- and rated-equivalent capacities, while its global press materials state a 6,900 mAh equivalent capacity. Treat them as market/source-specific claims rather than one universal capacity. The China package includes a 100 W charger, but vivo specifies that the phone charges at a maximum of 80 W from it; actual power varies.

Camera system and the optional telephoto extender
vivo lists a 200 MP main camera, 50 MP APO telephoto camera and 50 MP ultrawide camera. Its China launch announcement also names the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, an imaging accessory with a stated 200 mm-equivalent focal length. That focal length describes the accessory, not the phone’s standard telephoto camera, and it should not be assumed to be included with every phone or in every region.

For Spain, the October 1 report describes a photo-kit bundle as one purchase option. Check local terms to see whether the extender is sold separately or only as part of a bundle, and what the kit contains.

For China, vivo’s product specification page lists configurations starting at CNY 7,999. That is a China-market starting price; it is not a conversion or estimate of the price in another country. Local prices, configurations and bundle contents should be checked with the seller for the market where you plan to buy.
What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
The published figures establish the screen proportions, listed hardware and market-specific commercial details. They do not establish real-world battery life, camera image quality, durability or productivity performance. Nor do they show that every regional model has the same battery, configuration or carrier compatibility. For a purchase decision, confirm the exact local SKU, warranty, included accessories and network support alongside the price.
