The V60 adds a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera and lists a larger battery and newer chipset generation; the V50 lists a 50 MP ultrawide instead of the V60’s 8 MP ultrawide. These are 2025 launch prices, not verified current prices.
India launch prices: V60 started ₹2,000 higher at the matching tier
vivo announced V50 prices on February 17, 2025, with sales starting February 25. It announced V60 prices on August 12, 2025, with sales starting August 19. The table compares official India launch prices; it does not show current retailer offers or stock.

The ₹2,000 difference applies to the matching 8 GB + 128 GB launch configurations. The lineups do not include every identical RAM and storage combination, so compare like for like where possible. For example, the V50’s 12 GB + 512 GB launch price should not be treated as directly comparable to the V60’s 12 GB + 256 GB price.

Camera choice: telephoto reach or higher-resolution ultrawide?
The most concrete camera difference is the rear-camera mix. The V60 lists a 50 MP OIS ZEISS telephoto camera in addition to its main camera and 8 MP ultrawide. The V50 has a 50 MP main camera and 50 MP autofocus ultrawide, but no dedicated telephoto camera listed in its rear setup.
Choose based on the kinds of shots you take: a dedicated telephoto option may suit subjects you want to frame more tightly, while an ultrawide is designed for a broader field of view. The listed megapixel counts do not settle which phone produces better photos. That requires comparable camera testing, and the official specifications do not provide it.

Battery, charging, display and performance
The V60’s stated typical capacity is 6500 mAh versus 6000 mAh for the V50. That is a useful hardware difference, but it cannot predict how long either phone lasts: usage, network conditions, display settings and software all affect endurance. No directly comparable battery-life result is established by the listed specifications.
Both phones list 90W wired charging. That shared rating does not guarantee identical charging time, and vivo’s stated testing condition calls for its original charger and cable.

Each model lists a 6.77-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh-rate class. The V50 page specifies AMOLED resolution of 2392 × 1080, while vivo advertises a 5000-nit local peak brightness for the V60. A local peak figure is not a like-for-like brightness measurement against the V50’s listed resolution and refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 listed for the V60 is a later generation than the V50’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Without comparable independent tests, the generation difference should not be read as a quantified improvement in speed, gaming, heat management or efficiency.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the V60 if
- You want a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera in the listed rear-camera system.
- The larger stated typical battery capacity or newer listed chipset generation matters more to you than the V50’s higher-resolution ultrawide specification.
- You can confirm that the V60’s current price for your preferred RAM and storage tier is worth the premium.
Choose the V50 if
- You prefer its listed 50 MP autofocus ultrawide over the V60’s 8 MP ultrawide specification.
- Its price for the exact configuration you want is lower when you check current listings.
- The V60’s telephoto camera and additional stated battery capacity do not justify paying more for your needs.
Neither phone is a universal winner on the available specifications. The right choice depends on camera framing preference, the exact memory configuration and the price available from a seller you trust.
