The vivo T3 Pro 5G lists a faster-charging 80W system and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3; the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 SE 5G lists a larger 5,800mAh battery and a 20MP selfie camera. Both have 6.77-inch, 120Hz AMOLED displays, but their camera setups, software and ingress-protection ratings differ. There is no dependable price-difference verdict without checking live listings for the same storage tier, seller and stock.

Which phone has the stronger performance and charging specifications?
On paper, the vivo has the higher-tier named Snapdragon platform: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 versus Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, both listed as 4nm chips. Its listed 80W charging is also faster than the Redmi’s 45W. These specifications do not establish benchmark scores, sustained performance, charging time or performance in particular apps; the manufacturer pages do not provide those comparative test results.

How do the displays and cameras differ?
Display
Both phones list the same 6.77-inch, 2392 × 1080 resolution and 120Hz maximum refresh rate. The Redmi’s page specifies a curved AMOLED panel, while the vivo listing identifies an AMOLED display without the same curvature detail. Compare how a curved screen feels in hand and how it suits your viewing preferences; the shared size and refresh rate do not mean the panels are otherwise identical.
Rear and front cameras
The vivo lists a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX882 and optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. The Redmi lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera, and specifies 4K video recording. For selfies, the Redmi lists a 20MP front camera against the vivo’s 16MP. Megapixel counts and feature lists alone do not determine image quality, low-light results or video stabilisation.
Battery capacity, water resistance and software
The Redmi lists a 5,800mAh typical-capacity battery, compared with 5,500mAh on the vivo. That larger listed capacity does not by itself prove longer runtime; actual battery life depends on usage and other factors. Conversely, the vivo’s higher listed charging wattage is not a measured charge-time comparison.
The listed software versions are Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 for the vivo and HyperOS 3 with Android 15 for the Redmi. The cited specification pages do not establish update duration or future upgrade schedules.

See Xiaomi’s product page for its qualification; vivo’s listed parameters are on its India specifications page.

The available prices are not a like-for-like comparison. The vivo India store result showed ₹29,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₹31,999 for 8GB+256GB, with the selected configuration marked unavailable when captured. Xiaomi’s store result showed a ₹25,999 starting price, alongside a ₹34,999 marketing price and a stated ₹9,000 saving; the variant, offers and stock may affect what a buyer can actually pay. A 91mobiles comparison result showed ₹24,799 for the Redmi at Amazon, but this is a third-party marketplace figure that may be stale.
These listings mix an official vivo price, a Xiaomi promotional/store result and a third-party marketplace result, so they do not establish a current price gap. Check both phones at the same storage capacity, then compare the live seller, stock, warranty and offers on the day you plan to buy. Which one should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T3 Pro 5G if the listed Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 80W charging or an ultra-wide rear camera matters most to you.
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if you prefer its listed larger battery, 20MP front camera, curved screen, microSD expansion or higher IP rating.
- Before paying, compare the exact storage tier, current stock, seller warranty and live price. For network compatibility, check the bands for your carrier and region: vivo notes that actual network functionality depends on carrier availability, law and regulation, infrastructure support and software version.
Xiaomi also advertises that the phone “Survives Drop Test up to 1.7m.” Treat this as Xiaomi’s product-page claim, not as an independently established result or a guarantee against damage. The relevant Xiaomi product page contains the claim.
