Verizon’s Fios TV rate card lists the Streaming device connection bundle at $20 per month, with rates effective August 1, 2025. A Verizon Community poster described it as an add-on for watching Fios TV on other devices, but the rate card does not define current eligibility, supported devices, or what happens if you remove it. Check the terms on your account before deciding whether to keep it.
What the bundle appears to do
The bundle’s name does not explain its benefits. A Verizon Community poster said it was intended to let customers stream Fios TV on other devices, including phones, laptops, tablets, and computers. That is a customer-reported explanation, not definitive or current service documentation. Verizon’s Fios TV rate card lists the charge but does not state which devices or screens it covers.

The rate card does not explain whether these connection charges overlap with the streaming bundle or how they apply to a specific account. Do not assume they are interchangeable or that paying one removes the other.
What to verify before keeping or removing it
- Find the bill line item. Check whether the charge is currently billed or part of a promotion that is about to end.
- Confirm what your account includes. Ask Verizon or review your account’s current plan details for covered devices and screens, any limits, and whether the add-on is required for the way you watch.
- Check the exact device. Verify that the Fios TV app is currently available for your intended television or streaming device and whether your plan requires this add-on. A Verizon Community search result mentions a Fios TV app for Amazon Fire TV, but current compatibility and any bundle requirement are unverified.
- Ask what changes if you cancel. Get confirmation of which viewing access, if any, would be lost before removing the charge.
Is there a free trial?
One Verizon Community poster reported receiving a 60-day free trial on their account. That report is account-specific; it does not establish a current, universal offer. If you see a trial on your bill, confirm its end date and what the monthly charge will be afterward with Verizon.
