Why a Poly USB Bluetooth adapter is not an Xbox solution

Its media setup covers Windows and Mac; it does not document Xbox support. That makes the BT700 a documented computer accessory, not a verified Xbox adapter. A USB-A-to-USB-C converter changes the connector shape, not the device’s compatibility. - Identify the headset model. Check its model name and documentation for a wired 3.5 mm connection. If it only connects over USB or Bluetooth, the wired option described here does not apply.

A documented wired alternative
If your Poly headset lacks a suitable wired connection, or you need a headset whose Xbox compatibility is explicitly listed, HP’s HyperX CloudX specification identifies it as an Xbox-licensed wired headset compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, using a 3.5 mm 4-pole CTIA connection. That compatibility applies to CloudX; it should not be generalized to Poly products.
