Check which methods Urlbox actually offers in your account’s checkout. If you want to use a different option, use it only if checkout explicitly presents it and Urlbox confirms it is valid for your plan and recurring renewal, if applicable.
How do I update or retry my Urlbox payment?
- Record the failure details. Save the exact message, whether it happened during initial checkout or renewal, the time, amount and currency, and what the bank transaction history shows.
- Open the account’s billing controls. Check whether Urlbox offers a retry, payment-method update, or another payment option. The terms identify checkout as the place where accepted methods are displayed; they do not promise a specific method for India.

Why did my Urlbox subscription renewal fail?

Check the billing controls for an update or retry option, then ask your issuer whether it saw the renewal attempt and whether it requires action. If the renewal date is near, contact Urlbox to ask how the account and subscription are currently recorded. Do not assume a retry will happen on a particular schedule; the published terms do not specify one.

My payment went through but Urlbox says my plan is inactive
First confirm with the bank whether the transaction completed or is only pending. If it appears completed but the account remains inactive, contact Urlbox and ask support to reconcile the processor’s result with the subscription state. Include the approximate transaction time, amount and currency, account email, and any account error shown; do not send full card credentials.

Urlbox’s API reference lists NoPlan and NotActive (subscription expired) among common errors. These indicate an account or service state; by themselves, they do not explain why a bank declined a payment. If one appears, share the exact code with support.
Is this a Urlbox CLI or API problem?
Not necessarily. Urlbox’s CLI troubleshooting documentation covers technical issues such as authentication, plan permissions, rate limits, server errors, network problems, and timeouts. It does not document card-decline resolution. A render failing because the account has no active plan is not, on its own, evidence of a CLI fault or an explanation for a payment decline.

How do I stop a Urlbox renewal?
If you are trying to prevent the next renewal rather than restore access, use the account’s cancellation controls or send Urlbox a clear cancellation request before the renewal date. The terms say cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period when received before renewal.
