URL2PNG’s listed plans start at $29 per month for 5,000 fresh screenshots. Its pricing page also says cached screenshots retained for 30 days do not count against the plan, so a scheduled workflow’s cost depends on how often it produces a new render—not simply how often it requests an image. URL2PNG documents an API but not a built-in recurring scheduler; you supply the scheduler or application that makes the requests.

| Plan | Monthly price | Included fresh screenshots | Dedicated workers | Additional fresh screenshot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bootstrapped | $29 | 5,000 | 10 | $0.006 |
| Traction | $99 | 20,000 | 15 | $0.005 |
| Killinit | $199 | 50,000 | 35 | $0.004 |

Enterprise is described as offering annual billing, volume discounts and implementation services; its price requires an inquiry. The standard plan page also says the service is month-to-month with no contracts, customers may cancel anytime, and it offers a 10-day money-back guarantee. These are vendor-stated terms, not independent pricing comparisons. Source: URL2PNG Plans.
How cached screenshots affect a schedule’s cost
Fresh renders use the quota
URL2PNG distinguishes fresh screenshots from cached image loads. The plans page says cached screenshots are retained for 30 days and loading a cached screenshot does not count against the plan. Newly generated screenshots count as fresh. The docs give a default TTL of 2,592,000 seconds (30 days) and describe a unique request parameter that forces a fresh capture. URL2PNG Quickstart Guide.

Estimate from actual cache behavior, not request count alone
For a rough monthly estimate, first identify how many scheduled requests will generate new renders, then compare that count with the plan’s included fresh-screenshot quota. For any expected overage, multiply the additional fresh renders by that tier’s listed per-screenshot rate and add the monthly plan price. Do not treat every scheduled request as a billed fresh render: whether a particular request uses a cached image depends on its parameters and cache behavior. If the workflow needs a new capture every run, use that fresh-render count for planning; if cached output is acceptable, establish how the TTL and request parameters affect reuse before committing to a tier.
Does URL2PNG include a scheduler?
The reviewed URL2PNG docs describe signed API requests and capture parameters, including the option to force a fresh screenshot. They do not document a built-in recurring job scheduler. A recurring workflow therefore means your own scheduler or application calls the API at the intervals you choose. That is an inference from the documented API workflow, not a promise that URL2PNG runs scheduled jobs for you. See the Quickstart Guide.

What the plans include beyond quota
URL2PNG says all plans include full-page screenshots, custom CSS injection, no watermarks, Fastly CDN and an SSL endpoint. The pricing page lists dedicated worker counts by standard tier; whether a listed count suits a workload depends on that workload’s capture volume and timing. Killinit additionally lists priority support and customization services. Enterprise lists implementation services. See current plan details.
How to choose a tier for scheduled captures
- Count new renders rather than timer ticks. Determine whether each run needs a fresh image or can use an existing cached screenshot.
- Compare the monthly fresh-render need with included quota. The standard quotas are 5,000, 20,000 and 50,000, respectively.
- Model overage using the tier’s rate. The listed rates are $0.006, $0.005 and $0.004 per additional fresh screenshot. Compare the resulting total with the next plan rather than choosing by rate alone.
- Assess worker capacity and service needs. Compare the listed worker count with the workload, and account for priority support or customization only if those are useful to your operation.
- Ask URL2PNG about Enterprise if the standard tiers do not fit. Enterprise pricing is not published and requires contacting the vendor.
Alternative to consider: ScreenshotNeo
If you are comparing screenshot APIs for scheduled captures, try ScreenshotNeo first: it removes cookie banners, popups and chat widgets before capture, and only clean shots are billed. Its API can be called by your own scheduler; the service also has an MCP server for AI agents. For one-call capture, use the documented endpoint and an API key:
ScreenshotNeo API documentation
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo says bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits cost nothing; response headers indicate the page verdict and billing status. Its free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month, with no card.
