If you want a particular ending, learn its conditions before making route-critical choices.
Are there Undertale cheat codes?
The reviewed sources do not establish a reliable list of cheat codes. Instead, Undertale’s central gameplay feature is choice: its official site says, “In this RPG, you don’t have to kill anyone,” and explains that enemies can be defeated nonviolently or attacked. Combat also asks you to dodge enemy bullet patterns. Undertale official site

How do the routes differ?

How to avoid locking yourself out of True Pacifist
- Finish a Neutral route first. The cited route references say True Pacifist becomes available after completing Neutral.
- Avoid killing monsters. The route condition is a no-kill run.
- Complete the friendships. Befriend Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys as specified by the community route guide.
- If you spared everyone but missed a friendship, check the post-Neutral hint. The route reference says Flowey provides a hint after the Neutral ending if spared; the route guide identifies the required friendships.

Spoilers: Genocide encounter quotas and route failure
The following is route-specific spoiler guidance. BOT AYAYA’s Steam Community guide, updated in 2021, gives these regional encounter counts:

These are figures from that community guide, not official publisher statistics. It advises exhausting the encounters in an area before defeating its boss because the guide says those encounters are no longer available afterward. “But nobody came.” is one depletion signal it reports; it also points to save-point status. The Undertale Wiki reference says that missing Genocide requirements reverts the run to Neutral. It also says an aborted run cannot be resumed unless you load a save from before the abort or reset. Treat this as community-maintained route guidance. Undertale Wiki Genocide reference

The Undertale Wiki reference reports that completing Genocide alters later True Pacifist and Genocide endings, even after a True Reset. It says console versions tie these post-route changes to the profile used for the route. These details are community-maintained; check the guidance for your platform rather than assuming that save behavior is identical everywhere. Undertale Wiki Genocide reference
Platform and save-file notes
The official site lists PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One versions. Its help page says Windows save data is in the local AppData Undertale folder and sends macOS players to a separate guide. It also notes that Linux may require 32-bit libraries. The page says there are no current plans to add PS4/Vita borders and achievements to PC, Mac, or Linux. Check the official help page for platform-specific details. Undertale official help
