The UGREEN FineTrack Slim G Smart Finder is a card-shaped Bluetooth tracker for Android phones that work with Google Find Hub. UGREEN lists it at $29.99 in the US, with a 1.7 mm thickness, IP68 protection and a battery rated for up to five years. It is not a GPS tracker, does not support iPhone, and UGREEN’s information about replacing its battery is unclear.
What is the UGREEN FineTrack Slim G?
The FineTrack Slim G is UGREEN’s Android-only wallet tracker, compatible with Google Find Hub. Google also lists the model in its Find Hub compatible-device directory. UGREEN says it works with Android 9.0 or newer; it is not compatible with iOS. Do not confuse it with UGREEN’s separate Apple Find My tracker card.

Its card shape is intended for wallets, cardholders, passports, luggage and other flat belongings where a key-fob tracker may be awkward. UGREEN specifies a thickness of 1.7 mm. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independent measurement.

How Find Hub locates the card
The FineTrack Slim G communicates over Bluetooth; it does not independently send its position over GPS or a cellular connection. When it is nearby, Find Hub can make it play a sound. When it is out of Bluetooth range, other participating Android devices may detect it and securely report its location through Google’s Find Hub network. That can provide a last-known or network-reported location, not guaranteed live tracking.

In a sparse-network location, such as an empty building or rural area, the card may show an old location or no useful remote update. Bluetooth finding and network-based finding also depend on the phone’s settings and access to Google services. See Google’s Find Hub help for information about tracker tags and finding settings.
Google describes tracker tags as tools for belongings such as keys, luggage and bikes, and advises against using them to track pets or locate stolen items. This card is not a substitute for a live vehicle locator or a reliable person-tracking system.

UGREEN rates the battery for up to five years, or 60 months. Treat that as a manufacturer estimate, not a guarantee: actual life can vary with use and operating conditions. UGREEN says the battery can be replaced and that its level can be checked in the app, but its product information does not clearly explain the replacement procedure.
That leaves an important ownership question. 9to5Google described the card as non-rechargeable and effectively disposable when its battery expires, while UGREEN’s current page says the battery is replaceable without setting out a clear consumer process. Before buying, check with UGREEN about how replacement works and whether opening the card affects its water protection. If easy recharging or straightforward repair matters to you, this ambiguity is a drawback.

The main trade-off is thinness and long rated battery life versus long-term serviceability. The FineTrack Slim G may suit someone who wants a low-profile Android tracker in a wallet or passport holder. Someone who prefers to recharge a card rather than replace it should compare rechargeable alternatives such as Chipolo CARD or Pebblebee Card 5, checking their current platform support, price and availability.
Compatibility and setup
UGREEN lists Android 9.0 or newer as the requirement. Setup and network-based finding also rely on Google services and phone settings; menus and available features can vary by device and Android version. Have a Google account, Google Play Services and the Find Hub app available, and turn on Bluetooth and Location.

- Open Find Hub and activate the FineTrack Slim G near your phone.
- Follow the Android pairing prompt, then give the tracker a useful name such as “Wallet” or “Passport.”
- Use Find Hub to ring the card nearby and confirm that it appears in the app before placing it in your belongings.
- Review Find Hub’s lost-item and offline-finding settings if you want network-based location updates.
If pairing fails, confirm the phone meets the Android requirement, update Google services, bring the card close to the phone, and check Bluetooth and Location. UGREEN says that if a pairing prompt is dismissed or does not appear, waiting several minutes or restarting the phone may help. If an incomplete pairing entry remains, remove it before trying again; contact UGREEN support if the card still cannot be found.

Consider it if you use Android, want a particularly thin tracker for a wallet or passport, and value avoiding routine charging. Its 1.7 mm profile and five-year rated battery are the main selling points; IP68 protection and no advertised subscription add to the package.
Look elsewhere if you need iPhone support, confirmed UWB precision finding, reliable live tracking, or clearly documented battery replacement. Remote finding depends on the Find Hub network, and the battery’s end-of-life options remain unclear. The product appears to have launched in early September 2025, so it is better understood as an available tracker than a new release.

Does the UGREEN FineTrack Slim G work with iPhone?
No. UGREEN specifies Android 9.0 or newer and says this model is not compatible with iOS. It is distinct from UGREEN’s Apple Find My tracker card.
