The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is a premium wireless gaming headset built around 2.4GHz USB wireless, Bluetooth, swappable batteries and a transmitter dock. Its feature list is broad, but whether it fits your setup depends on the exact console variant and transmitter configuration you buy. Turtle Beach’s runtime and audio figures are specifications and claims, not results from our own testing; the comfort observations below come from named reviewers.
Who should consider the Stealth Pro II?
It is most relevant if you want one headset for gaming across supported consoles or PC, with Bluetooth available for a mobile device and a second wireless connection. CrossPlay 2.0 is designed to make switching among platforms easier, while the two-battery system lets one pack charge as the other is in use. Before buying, confirm the listing’s console version and which transmitter or transmitters are included: compatibility is not a guarantee that every configuration works with every platform in the same way.

Compatibility and transmitter setup
Turtle Beach lists support for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows 10 and later PCs with USB 2.0 or higher, and Bluetooth-equipped mobile devices. The company describes CrossPlay 2.0 as supporting up to four USB wireless transmitters for switching between platforms. That is a supported maximum, not a statement that four transmitters come in the box.

The published box contents name a CrossPlay transmitter dock and a USB wireless transmitter, but Turtle Beach’s product information says to verify the contents for the version being sold. The feature list does not establish that one included transmitter will provide identical connectivity across Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Wireless, audio and microphone features
The headset supports 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth, and Turtle Beach says both connections can be used simultaneously. That can suit someone who wants game audio over the wireless transmitter while keeping a Bluetooth-connected device available. Actual setup and behavior may depend on the connected devices and configuration.
Turtle Beach lists 60mm Eclipse dual drivers, Dolby Atmos spatial audio, adjustable active noise cancellation (ANC), and a detachable unidirectional 9mm microphone. The company also describes AI-based noise reduction and internal beamforming microphones. These are official specifications and feature claims; they do not, on their own, establish how the headset sounds, how well ANC performs, or how clearly the microphone reproduces a particular voice.

The manufacturer states that 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Res wireless audio is available on PC or other systems that support that output. Treat that as a compatibility-dependent specification, not a promise that every connected platform will deliver that format.

Turtle Beach advertises two swappable batteries rated for up to 40 hours each, plus a transmitter station that also charges the battery packs. The stated runtime is a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed result: actual battery life can vary with connection, volume and configuration. The practical appeal is the ability to charge one pack while using the other.

In its May 28, 2026 review, PC Gamer describes the dock as both a receiver and a battery charger. The reviewer found that adding a second receiver made switching between a console and PC convenient. They also reported a short interruption when swapping batteries because the headset did not remain powered during the change. Those are that reviewer’s observations, not a guarantee of the same experience in every setup.
Comfort and weight
PC Gamer reported a weight of 393g with the microphone attached. Its reviewer said the headset became comfortable after some adjustment, while noting that its weight took time to get used to. That is a single reviewer’s experience rather than a universal fit assessment. If you are sensitive to heavier headsets or plan long sessions, fit and weight deserve particular attention.

What the review coverage establishes
PC Gamer’s review provides concrete observations about the headset’s weight, battery swapping and use of additional receivers. TechRadar’s May 17, 2026 review discusses changes from the previous Stealth Pro generation, including larger dual-driver hardware, Hi-Res certification, adjustable ANC and the removable microphone. Its verdict is that publication’s evaluation, not a consensus measurement of performance.

What to check before buying
- Exact platform version: Confirm that the listing is the Xbox or PlayStation configuration you need, and check its transmitter arrangement.
- Included items: Verify the regional box contents, including the transmitter dock, USB transmitter, batteries, charging cable and case.
- Your connection plan: Check how you will use 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or both with your devices.
- Fit: Consider the reported 393g weight with microphone attached and the reviewer’s adjustment period.
- Local terms: Check current price, stock, warranty and bundle details with the seller; the sources cited here do not establish a current offer.
Verdict
The Stealth Pro II’s strongest case is its combination of platform switching, simultaneous wireless options and a two-pack battery system with a charging dock. Its potential drawbacks are the need to confirm the correct platform-specific transmitter setup and the weight reported by PC Gamer. The official specifications make it feature-rich on paper, but the available review evidence does not justify treating its sound, microphone or ANC as independently proven strengths. Consider it if the configuration matches your devices and the fit works for you; check local pricing and terms before deciding whether the premium feature set is worth the cost.
