1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsAdobe offers two ways to turn documents into a presentation: use Acrobat’s Generate presentation workflow, including from a PDF Space, or start with Generate presentation in Adobe Express. In either route, you provide source material and a prompt, set preferences such as audience and detail, choose a template, review the outline, and generate an editable draft. Check your account’s available controls and upload formats before you begin; Adobe’s pages describe different entry points and access conditions.
Choose Acrobat or Adobe Express
Both routes use your documents as source material, but they start in different places and offer different documented upload formats and output options. There is no evidence that one is universally better; choose based on where your files are and which workflow appears in your account.

Make a presentation in Acrobat
- Open the presentation builder. Start a presentation from scratch, add existing files, or work from a PDF Space. For a PDF Space, use its presentation action or ask AI Assistant to create a presentation from the Space’s files. Adobe’s Acrobat steps
- Add source material. In the builder, add files, links, or pasted text. The overview describes a limit of up to 10 documents and 150 combined pages; the accepted formats can depend on the entry point. Acrobat overview
- Describe the deck and set preferences. Write or select a prompt that explains the presentation’s purpose and intended audience. Set the number of slides or length, audience, level of detail, and whether to use images from the files where those options are available.
- Choose a template and inspect the outline. Review the proposed slide sequence and content. Edit slide text and reorder slides before generating; this is the point to correct emphasis or remove material that does not belong.
- Generate and refine. Select Generate. Adobe says the generation is powered by Adobe Express. In the editor, refine text, layout, structure, media, and themes; page-level tools such as animation, translation, resizing, or image replacement may be available. Adobe says presentation files are saved in both Acrobat and Express. Acrobat presentation instructions
- Share, present, or export. Acrobat’s instructions list download as PDF, PNG, JPG, or PPTX, sharing by link or email, and presenting from Acrobat or Express. The options shown can depend on the experience in your account. Acrobat presentation instructions
Make a presentation in Adobe Express
- Open the action. In Adobe Express, select Generate presentation from Quick actions. Adobe Express instructions
- Enter a prompt and add reference documents. Explain what the presentation should cover and who it is for. Add source documents as references if you want the generated draft to draw on them. Adobe lists PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, RTF, XLS, VTT, and web links as supported uploads, up to 10 documents and 150 pages combined.
- Set preferences and select a template. Adjust length, audience, and level of detail, then choose a template from those offered in your interface.
- Review the outline before generating. Inspect the proposed slide structure and content, make edits, and reorder slides as needed. Then generate the deck.
- Edit and use the result. Customize the presentation in the Express editor, then download it or present it in Express. Adobe Express instructions
Review the AI-generated draft before relying on it
Adobe describes this as a way to turn documents into structured, ready-to-edit presentations—not as a guarantee that every statement or slide is correct. Treat the outline and slides as a draft. Compare factual claims, figures, dates, quotations, and conclusions against the source files; check that context and caveats survived the conversion; and verify that the deck suits its audience before sharing or presenting.
