The Trettitre Retro Ambient Audio System combines separate vinyl, CD, and cassette players with a magnetic display rack. Each player has its own battery and can send audio wirelessly to compatible headphones or speakers, but “no wires” does not mean no cables at all: charging and installation still require planning. Trettitre displayed the bundle at $529 on its product page on October 7, 2026; price and availability can change.
What comes in the system?
Trettitre describes the Retro Ambient Audio System as three standalone players and a modular rack. The players can also be used independently of the rack.

| Component | What it plays or does |
|---|---|
| TTT-LP3 | Vinyl records; the maker lists Bluetooth audio, a 3.5 mm output, and ambient lighting. |
| TTT-DP3 | CDs, with Bluetooth audio according to Trettitre. |
| TTT-CP3 | Cassettes, with Bluetooth audio according to Trettitre. |
| W-RACK | Magnetic modular rack for displaying and wall-mounting the players. |
These are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent performance findings. The bundle’s appeal is as much its coordinated display as its format coverage: it brings three kinds of physical media into one modular setup rather than replacing them with a single all-in-one player.

Does it really need no wires?
No, not in the literal sense. The players are battery-powered and can connect to wireless audio devices, so routine listening need not involve a cable running from each player to a speaker. But each unit has its own battery and USB-C charging port, and Tom’s Hardware reported no combined charging mechanism or power supply. Trettitre says the LP3 can charge wirelessly only when used with its T-shaped mount; that is not a shared wireless-charging solution for all three players.

Wall mounting also involves hardware. Trettitre lists adhesive mounting and expansion screws for different wall types, and warns that the no-nails adhesive is unsuitable for plaster or latex-painted walls. Check the wall surface and the supplied installation guidance before choosing a mounting method; the adhesive option should not be treated as suitable for every wall.
What does Trettitre claim about battery life and LP3 connectivity?
Trettitre lists up to 10 hours of vinyl playback from a full LP3 charge, or up to 6 hours when the player’s light is used as an ambient lamp. The company also lists up to 10 hours for the CD and cassette players. These are manufacturer maximums, not guaranteed runtimes; actual use may differ.

For the LP3, the manufacturer specifies Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive support, plus a 3.5 mm output. A wired output gives another connection option if a listener does not want to use Bluetooth. The listed codec support applies to the LP3; Tom’s Hardware’s October 6, 2026 coverage noted that the cited specifications did not list high-end codecs for the CD and cassette players.

The LP3 is designed to play records vertically, which suits the wall-display concept but makes record stability an important question. Tom’s Hardware reporter Bruno Ferreira noted that the orientation places unusual demands on the self-balancing tonearm and questioned how well it would maintain stability. That is a concern about the announced design, not a hands-on test or a measured verdict on playback quality.

The same report describes the LP3 as using an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge and manual speed adjustment of up to ±5%. Those specifications may matter to listeners comparing turntable features, but they do not establish how the LP3 sounds or performs in use.
What is included, and what accessories are listed?
The manufacturer’s product page lists an ATN-3600L replacement stylus, a record holder, a 38 mm EP adapter, a USB-C cable, and wall-installation items. Confirm compatibility with the specific player and current stock before buying accessories; the presence of an item on the product page does not establish its availability at a later date.

How much does it cost, and what do the old Kickstarter prices mean?
Trettitre’s product page displayed the full system at $529 when observed on October 7, 2026. The page also stated that in-stock orders are processed in 1–2 business days, with estimated delivery 8–15 business days after dispatch depending on destination. It listed a 12-month warranty, lifetime repair support, and a 7-day free quality replacement; those are the manufacturer’s current page statements and are subject to applicable terms and change.
The Kickstarter campaign ran from March 26 to April 10, 2026, and showed bundle reward prices including $399 and $429. Those were campaign pledge offers with delivery estimates that varied by reward tier—not current retail prices or promises of present-day delivery.

How to decide whether the system fits your setup
Before choosing it over separate players, compare the details that affect everyday use rather than assuming that a unified design guarantees better sound or convenience:
- Formats: Buy only the players you need; the three units are described as usable independently.
- Placement: Decide whether you want a wall display or tabletop setup, and confirm that your wall and preferred mounting method are compatible.
- Charging: Account for separate batteries and USB-C charging. The LP3’s T-shaped mount is the only wireless-charging option Trettitre identifies.
- Connections: Check the specific wireless codecs and wired outputs listed for each component; the detailed codec list cited here is for the LP3.
- Vinyl handling: Consider the vertical orientation and the reported stability question if record playback is your priority.
- Total setup cost: Compare the bundle price with the cost of the separate players, rack, and any accessories you actually need.
The available specifications do not establish a comparative performance ranking against other systems, so sound quality should not be inferred from the format list or connectivity claims alone.
