Mycopunk is scheduled to leave Steam Early Access and launch as version 1.0 on October 20, 2026, for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. The PS5 version is also planned for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. The announcement lists new guns, grenades, modes, maps, a character and hats for 1.0, but does not yet give a full content breakdown.
When does Mycopunk 1.0 come out?
Mycopunk 1.0 is scheduled for October 20, 2026. On that date, the game is planned to leave Steam Early Access and reach its full 1.0 launch. The date was announced by developer Pigeons at Play and publisher Devolver Digital on September 21, 2026. The announcement and Steam listing both give October 20 as the planned Early Access exit.

Which platforms will Mycopunk 1.0 be on?
The announced platforms are PC and PS5. On PC, Mycopunk is available through Steam; the PlayStation Store lists a PS5 version with the same October 20, 2026 release date. The sources announcing this launch do not establish availability on other consoles or storefronts.

The release announcement names six kinds of additions: new guns, grenades, modes, maps, a new character and hats. It does not provide final quantities or a complete breakdown, so those categories should not be read as a confirmed inventory of everything coming at launch.

A developer post about the August cryo update described it as a soft launch for working through balance and bugs ahead of 1.0. It previewed cryo-themed employee upgrades and a cryo exploder enemy, and said a new grenade would arrive with the full power of cryo in 1.0. These are preview details, not a complete final patch list. Pigeons at Play’s announcements contain the developer update.
Will Mycopunk be on PlayStation Plus?
The PS5 version is planned for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, according to the launch announcement. Separately, the PlayStation Store listing says online multiplayer requires PS Plus. These are different benefits: the Extra and Premium game availability does not mean that online play is free of the listed PS Plus requirement.

What kind of game is Mycopunk?
Mycopunk is a mission-based co-op looter shooter about a crew of robot exterminators fighting a fungal threat. Its announced features include up to four-player action, customizable equipment and a grid-based upgrade system, alongside a science-fiction setting and black humor. The PlayStation Store marks online play as optional and lists support for up to four online players with PS Plus.

Steam’s description of the Early Access build lists four characters, 12 weapons, three grenades, 587 upgrades, four regions and nine missions. These are counts for the Early Access state described on Steam, not confirmed totals for the 1.0 launch. The developers describe Early Access as a period for adding content and polishing the game; Steam identifies Pigeons at Play as developer and Devolver Digital as publisher.

What has not been confirmed for launch?
The available launch and store listings do not establish a final 1.0 price, cross-play, regional PlayStation Plus terms, or performance specifications such as resolution and frame rate. Steam’s Early Access price is not a confirmed 1.0 price; its Early Access Q&A says the developers planned to raise the price at full launch but does not state the new amount.
