Three focused web utilities cover three different jobs: checking how named AI crawlers match a site’s robots.txt, previewing text against platform limits, and reading plain-language summaries of selected Korean terms of service. Their features and claims are described by developer Max Hwang in a September 30, 2026 post; they have not been independently verified here.
Which tool should you use?
| Need | Tool | What it is described as doing |
|---|---|---|
| Check crawler rules | AI crawler checker and llms.txt page |
Fetches a submitted domain’s robots.txt and reports per-crawler rule outcomes; a related page checks and generates llms.txt. |
| Check text length and cut points | Character-limit checker and specialized pages | Compares pasted text against limits or display estimates for social platforms, messaging, advertising and search-result text. |
| Understand selected Korean service terms | Korean terms summary | Shows plain-language cards about selected clauses, with article references and source text. |
These are distinct utilities rather than competing products. Hwang’s descriptions, privacy statements, database contents and test figures below are author-reported, not independent test results.

What does your robots.txt say to GPTBot?
According to Hwang’s post, the checker retrieves a submitted domain’s robots.txt and evaluates 15 named user agents: GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Bytespider, CCBot, Amazonbot, Applebot-Extended, Diffbot and meta-externalagent. It labels outcomes allowed, partial, blocked or no-rules, and supplies a block snippet for crawlers not already blocked. These are the implementation details stated in the September 30, 2026 post, not independently verified behavior. Read Hwang’s description of the tools.

robots.txt is a set of crawler instructions, not an access-control system. The IETF’s RFC 9309 states, “These rules are not a form of access authorization.” A compliant crawler may follow a disallow rule, but the file cannot prevent an uncooperative client from requesting a public URL. The RFC also notes that paths listed in the file are publicly exposed and may be discovered.
#1 Best Overall
The protocol’s matching rules matter when reading a result: user-agent matching is case-insensitive; a crawler without a matching group falls back to the * group when one exists; and the most specific matching path rule is used. If an allow and disallow rule match equally, the RFC says the allow rule should be used. A checker’s summary is useful for inspecting configured instructions, but it should not be mistaken for proof of what every crawler will actually do.
What the related llms.txt page does
Hwang also describes a related /llms page that checks and generates llms.txt, warning when optional sections are absent and reporting an error when an H1 is missing. This is the author’s account of the page’s behavior; it does not establish that an llms.txt file is a standardized access-control mechanism.

Where exactly does the text get cut?
The character-limit checker is described as supporting X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, Pinterest, Google Ads, and search-result title and description text. It highlights cut points and reports grapheme clusters, UTF-8 bytes and words separately. For SMS, Hwang says it identifies GSM-7 or UCS-2 encoding and estimates the segment count.

Search previews are estimates, not Google guarantees
Google does not promise that a search result will reproduce a page’s title element exactly: title links can be generated from multiple sources. Its documentation also does not specify a fixed character limit for meta descriptions, and displayed snippets can vary. Treat the tool’s counts and pixel widths as drafting aids, not guaranteed Google cutoffs. See Google’s guidance on title links and meta descriptions and snippets.
Privacy claim to keep in perspective
Hwang says pasted text stays in the browser and that the worker serves static files. That is the developer’s stated design, not an independently audited privacy finding. Avoid pasting confidential or sensitive material unless the site’s current privacy information and your own requirements give you confidence.

Hwang describes a Korean-language, ToS;DR-style service that presents human-written cards for clauses such as automatic renewal, refund limits, liability caps and third-party data sharing. Cards reportedly include article references and source text, so readers can use the summary to locate the underlying provision rather than treating the card as a substitute for it.

The post says the collection covers ten services: Naver, Kakao T, KakaoPay, Toss, Gmarket, Netflix, Google, Airbnb, Albamon and Apple Media Services. Hwang also says the collection process respects robots.txt, waits at least two seconds between requests, follows Crawl-delay, and publishes summaries and source URLs rather than full source terms. Current coverage, source terms and collection practices were not independently checked; consult the service’s original terms for a current or consequential decision.
What the author reports about testing
Hwang reports 240 regression cases for the crawler checker and a run on September 4, 2026 with 9,544 comparison values and zero mismatches. These are the author’s test figures, not an independent benchmark, and they do not establish accuracy across every site, platform change or crawler implementation. The post also reports a ten-service terms collection and support for 15 crawler identities; those are descriptions of the author’s tools, not broader measures of industry coverage.
