- Open the game’s Settings menu and choose Accessibility.
- To enable it while starting a new game, select Just the Story difficulty and enable Bard’s Ballad during setup.
- To enable it in an existing game, open the Accessibility section and turn on the preset. The official notes do not say that you must change difficulty to do this.
- Review the listed options and enable or disable each one to suit your preferences.

If you want less pressure from inventory management, Ignore Item Weight addresses that limit; Unlimited Item Durability removes equipment wear. The official notes do not prescribe a single best combination, so choose according to which mechanics you want simplified.

CD PROJEKT RED says The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered released on September 29, 2026, for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and Battle.net), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher says owners of prior physical or digital versions can upgrade for free within the same platform ecosystem.
