In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, “Get Junior” sends Geralt to investigate three Novigrad locations—the casino, arena, and Whoreson Junior’s house—before tracking Junior to Oxenfurt. You can search the three locations in any order. If you also want to complete Gangs of Novigrad, finish that side quest before meeting Vernon Roche’s contact, or it can fail.

Start the investigation at the bathhouse
Go to Sigi Reuven’s bathhouse in Novigrad. During the meeting with Reuven (Dijkstra), Cleaver, and the King of Beggars, Junior’s men attack. Once the interruption is over, speak with Dijkstra to receive three leads: the casino, the arena, and Junior’s house.

You can investigate those locations in any order. Junior’s house has already been ransacked by Cleaver’s people, so it yields little useful information. The casino and arena have more substantial investigation sequences, and both eventually turn into fights with Junior’s men.

Search the casino
You can enter the casino by persuading or bribing the guards, or by fighting your way in. If you want to play Gwent, avoid naming Junior or otherwise provoking the room as you talk to people; the situation becomes hostile as events escalate.
Look for Rico, a halfling informant, and free him. Doing so starts the side quest Honor Among Thieves. The casino’s clues, together with information from the other locations, help point Geralt toward Junior’s Redanian connection.
Investigate the arena
There are several ways into the arena: show a credential, use Axii (Delusion), pay a bribe, or fight. To get work from Igor, keep the conversation neutral and ask him for a job. This leads to a series of fights.

During the arena sequence, you can kill or spare Gustav. Sparing him means he joins the later fights, but three dogs are added to the next fight sequence. After the battle, search Igor’s body and the chest near the throne. Then use Witcher Senses to locate the secret-room entrance and the letter inside.
Finish Gangs of Novigrad before meeting Roche’s contact
If you want to complete Gangs of Novigrad, settle it before you meet Roche’s Redanian contact. The walkthrough from Gamer Guides warns that reaching the contact while Gangs of Novigrad is still active will fail that side quest: Get Junior walkthrough.
This is the key timing decision in the investigation. You can explore the casino, arena, and house in any order, but don’t advance to the contact until you have finished the side quest if you want to preserve it.

Return to Dijkstra, then find Roche
Once you have searched the locations, return to Dijkstra. The trail then leads to Vernon Roche at the Temerian partisan hideout and a meeting near Oxenfurt. Roche’s contact identifies Junior’s hideout and starts the separate favor thread Eye for an Eye.
Reach Junior’s Oxenfurt hideout
Travel to Junior’s estate in Oxenfurt and fight through the guards. You can use the direct approach, or look for a back way: follow the clue about where the guards enter and use the canal tunnel. Either route leads to Junior upstairs.
Spoilers: kill or spare Whoreson Junior?
After Junior’s account, the game shifts to a playable Ciri flashback. When that sequence ends, Geralt must decide whether to kill or spare Junior.

The documented difference is mainly in later scenes; the walkthrough reports the same XP reward for either choice. Choose based on the outcome you want for Junior’s story rather than expecting a different immediate quest reward.
