The Best Alternatives to Eufy Robot Vacuums for Different Budgets

Compare budget, midrange and premium alternatives to Eufy robot vacuums, with clear trade-offs for carpet, pet hair, mopping and dock maintenance.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

If you want a robot vacuum like a Eufy but need a different price or feature mix, start with the Roborock Q7 M5 for a budget pick, the Roborock Qrevo Curv for a more automated dock, or the Roborock Saros 10R for premium navigation and mopping. For a basic vacuum-only option, consider the iRobot Roomba 105 Vac. None is a universal best: carpet, pet hair, clutter, mopping needs and the work you are willing to do at the dock all change the right choice.

Prices and bundles vary by country and retailer, so compare the exact model and included dock where you live. The examples below draw on US and UK coverage and should not be treated as a single-market price ranking.

Quick picks by budget and need

Need Model to consider Why it may fit Important trade-off
Lower-cost vacuuming with light mopping Roborock Q7 M5 RTINGS reports solid pickup on hard floors and carpet, quiet operation, app scheduling and no-go zones. Its static mop is for light upkeep, and its recharge-only dock requires manual emptying and mop washing. It does not reliably avoid cords and toys.
Less hands-on mop-pad maintenance Roborock Qrevo Curv Its multifunction dock empties dust, washes pads with heated water and dries them with warm air. RTINGS reports difficulty with pet hair on carpet, and its mop pads can smear stuck-on stains before removing them.
Premium navigation and hard-floor mopping Roborock Saros 10R RTINGS highlights LiDAR-based Starsight navigation and hazard recognition, strong hard-floor cleaning, dried-stain mopping and a low profile. Embedded pet hair pickup on carpet is weaker; homes with pets and carpeting may still need a regular vacuum.
Simple vacuum-only setup iRobot Roomba 105 Vac At a Good Price describes an entry-level LiDAR-mapped model that cleans in rows and supports app scheduling. No mop or self-emptying dock; its 380 mL bin needs manual emptying.
UK-market affordable option Hoover HG2 Turbo Slim Hydro Ideal Home describes it as an affordable entry-level choice with mopping and multi-room mapping. No docking station; the reviewer flags inconsistent cleaning and difficulty with obstacles.
Different mop design for mixed floors Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow Ideal Home describes a rotating mop roller, dock and multi-room mapping. It has no mop-only mode, and detergent is not included, according to the review.

Which robot vacuum should you buy on a budget?

Roborock Q7 M5: a budget vacuum with basic mopping

RTINGS calls the Q7 M5 its best budget robot vacuum tested, based on its own assessment and testing. Its review reports good pickup on hard floors and carpet, removal of most pet hair in one pass, quiet operation, and enough battery for most homes. Schedules and no-go zones in the app add useful control for routine cleaning. See RTINGS’ budget robot vacuum guide for its testing context and current review.

The mop is a static damp pad, not a substitute for a more capable mop system when dried-on marks are the problem. Its dock recharges the robot but does not empty the bin or wash the pad, so you handle both tasks. The robot also does not reliably avoid cords, toys and other clutter; pick up the floor before starting it rather than relying on obstacle detection.

Hoover HG2 Turbo Slim Hydro: an affordable UK-market alternative

For a UK-market option, Ideal Home lists the HG2 Turbo Slim Hydro with up to 160 minutes of runtime, 5,000 Pa listed suction, mopping, multi-room mapping and a 250 ml dust bin. Those are listed specifications, not a direct comparative cleaning test. The reviewer considers it an affordable entry-level choice, but notes that it has no docking station and can clean inconsistently or struggle with obstacles. Check the exact local model and configuration; do not compare its UK-market availability or price directly with US listings.

When is it worth paying more for an automated dock?

Roborock Qrevo Curv: reduce pad and dustbin chores

The Qrevo Curv suits buyers who want more of the routine dock work automated. RTINGS reports exceptional hard-floor debris pickup and reasonable performance on low- and high-pile carpet. Its dock empties dust, washes mop pads with heated water and dries them using warm air. That means less frequent hands-on pad care than a recharge-only dock, though you still need to manage water and keep the machine and dock maintained. RTINGS notes that this model has been superseded by a newer model in the brand’s line; check model availability and bundle details before buying. See RTINGS’ robot vacuum guide for its assessment.

roborock Q7 M5 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, 10,000Pa HyperForce Suction
  • 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗮 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Effortlessly lifts dust, dirt, pet hair, and debris from carpets, tiles, and hard floors, tackling deeply embedded particles with extreme suction power. You can freely select different vacuuming modes on the app to clean your home.
  • 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: Equipped with a JawScrapers Comb main brush and a tangle-free side brush, reducing hair entanglement and ensuring a cleaner, more pet-friendly home.
  • 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴: The electronically controlled water tank provides three adjustable water flow levels to adjust the intensity of mopping according to the type of flooring: low for wood, medium for tiles, high for stubborn kitchen stains.
  • 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆: The detachable mop allows for vacuuming and mopping at once, capturing fine dirt that vacuuming alone might miss, perfect for both daily upkeep and deep cleaning.
  • 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗗𝗔𝗥: Quickly scans and builds precise maps in seconds, finding the optimal cleaning route for your home. You can visualize your home and add furniture, pet supplies, and flooring materials to the app.

There are meaningful compromises: RTINGS says the split brushroll struggles with pet hair, and the twin-pad mop can smear stuck-on stains before removing them and leave water behind. If your main challenge is pet hair embedded in carpet, a more elaborate dock does not solve the key cleaning limitation.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow: consider the roller-mop system

Ideal Home describes the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow as a mixed-floor option with a rotating mop roller, dock and multi-room mapping. Its listed specifications are 240 minutes of runtime, 35,000 Pa suction and a 2.7 L dust bag. Treat these as listed product figures, not proof of better cleaning than another model. The review says it has no mop-only mode and detergent is not included; availability and configuration can vary by market. Read Ideal Home’s Qrevo Edge 2 Flow review for its UK-market context.

When does a premium robot make sense?

Roborock Saros 10R: navigation and hard-floor mopping

RTINGS recommends the Saros 10R as its best overall robot vacuum, citing LiDAR-based Starsight navigation and hazard recognition, strong hard-floor cleaning, effective dried-stain mopping and a low profile. Its dock automates tasks including heated mop-pad washing. Those features may matter in a home with varied rooms and hard floors where you want less frequent intervention.

The main exception is carpeted homes with pets: RTINGS reports poorer pickup of embedded pet hair on carpet. If that describes your floors, plan on using a regular vacuum as well rather than assuming a premium robot will replace it. RTINGS’ comparative guide provides the context for its recommendation.

Is a basic vacuum-only robot enough?

iRobot Roomba 105 Vac: straightforward cleaning, no mop

The Roomba 105 Vac is a simpler choice if you want scheduled vacuuming and do not need mopping or an automated dock. At a Good Price describes it as an entry-level LiDAR-mapped Roomba that cleans in rows, offers app scheduling and has four suction levels. It has a plain charging dock and a 380 mL bin that must be emptied manually; brushes and filters are recurring costs. Its comparison page lists manufacturer-rated suction and runtime figures, which should not be mistaken for independently measured cross-brand results.

How to choose the right alternative for your home

Match performance to your floors and debris

  • Hard floors and daily crumbs: prioritize demonstrated debris pickup and navigation around the rooms you use most.
  • Carpet and grit: look for evidence of carpet pickup, not just a high suction number on a specification sheet.
  • Pet hair: check performance on carpet as well as the brush design. The Qrevo Curv and Saros 10R have stated limitations with pet hair on carpet, while the Q7 M5 is reported to remove most pet hair in one pass.

Decide what “mopping” should mean

A static damp pad, a rotating roller and powered mop pads are different systems. For light upkeep, a static pad may be enough. For more involved floor care, consider how the pads are washed and dried, whether the machine supports mop-only runs, and whether detergent is supplied. A dock that washes pads reduces one chore but does not guarantee that the robot will remove every stuck-on stain.

Count the work and consumables, not only the dock features

A recharge-only dock leaves dustbin emptying and pad washing to you. A multifunction dock can handle some of those tasks, but still requires attention to water, the dock itself and replacement supplies. Include bags, filters, brushes, mop pads and cleaning solution in your ownership comparison, and confirm that replacement parts fit the exact model.

Compare the same market and bundle

Before choosing, compare current local prices for equivalent configurations. Confirm whether the listing includes a basic charger or a multifunction dock, and whether it is the same model suffix and mop setup. Dated prices and manufacturer-rated suction or runtime figures are not a substitute for current local offers or comparative cleaning tests.
