Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The most common reported DPI for TenZ in VALORANT is 1600. The in-game sensitivity paired with it differs from one published profile to another, ranging from 0.08 to 0.201, which gives eDPI values from 128 to 321.6. No primary, dated statement from TenZ or his team was found that confirms one pair as his current setup, so treat any single number as a reported profile rather than a verified live value.
What DPI actually controls
DPI (dots per inch) is the number of counts your mouse sensor reports for each inch of physical movement. It is set in your mouse vendor’s software, usually on a DPI stage or profile page. A higher DPI means the cursor or crosshair travels further for the same hand movement, but DPI alone does not tell you how fast the crosshair moves in a game.

In VALORANT, that second half comes from the in-game sensitivity value. Players and profile sites usually combine the two into eDPI (effective DPI), calculated as:

For example, 1600 DPI at 0.173 sensitivity gives 276.8 eDPI. Because eDPI is a product, two very different setups can produce the same number, and the same DPI can produce very different eDPI values. When you compare a pro’s settings, check both numbers.

What the reported TenZ settings say
The table below lists four published profiles. The values are what each site reported; they are not measured data and they were not all updated on the same date.
| Source | Reported DPI | Reported in-game sensitivity | Reported eDPI | Date and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Liquipedia | 1600 | 0.08 | 128 | Mouse settings last updated 2024-01-28. Community-maintained reference page, not a statement from TenZ. |
| VPEsports | 1600 | 0.173 | 276.8 | Update date not stated on the page reviewed. |
| Charlie INTEL | 1600 | 0.201 | 321.6 | Article published roughly three years before this guide’s date, so likely historical. |
| SensLab | 1600 | 0.12 | 192 | Listing shows an update dated October 2026. Secondary aggregator, not a primary confirmation. |
Two points follow from the table. First, 1600 DPI appears in every profile, so it is the most consistently reported value. Second, the sensitivity figures disagree by more than two and a half times between the lowest and highest entries, so the sensitivity cannot be called settled. If you need a single answer to “what is TenZ’s sensitivity?”, the honest answer is that the published profiles conflict and none of them has been confirmed by a dated primary source.

How to use a professional setting without copying blindly
A pro profile is a reasonable starting point, but it only makes sense when you rebuild it deliberately. The steps below assume you want to test a reported setting against your own feel.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Open your mouse vendor’s software and set the DPI stage you want to use to 1600, or the nearest value your mouse supports. Save the profile to the mouse if the software offers onboard memory, so the setting persists outside the software.
- Launch VALORANT and open Settings, then the Mouse section. Enter the sensitivity value you are testing, for example 0.173.
- Calculate eDPI with the formula above (DPI × sensitivity) and write it down. This lets you compare your setup with any profile without relying on the site’s own arithmetic.
- Play several sessions on the same values before changing anything. Changing DPI, sensitivity and mouse in one go makes it impossible to tell which change affected your aim.
- Adjust in small steps, such as 0.01 at a time for sensitivity, and keep notes on what felt better or worse.
Copying a reported setting does not establish that it improves aim. The published profiles describe what those players or sites reported using; they do not show that the same numbers produce better results for you.

Raw input in VALORANT
Raw input sends mouse movement to the game without the operating system applying extra processing, such as pointer acceleration. VALORANT’s handling of raw input has changed over time, and the in-game controls have changed with it.
Patch 3.07 (2021-10-05)
Riot’s patch notes state that VALORANT has used raw input since launch. The same notes explain that enabling Raw Input Buffer changes which APIs process raw input. Riot said this should keep input latency identical to standard input devices and gaming mice, with a minor performance improvement, and a major performance improvement with 8000 Hz polling mice.

Patch 11.06 (2025-09-16)
Riot removed the RawInputBuffer setting from user configuration and kept it enabled. Current guides should not tell players to switch it on or off manually, because the toggle is no longer exposed in the client.

Any mouse with adjustable DPI can hold a DPI value like 1600. Liquipedia lists a Pulsar TenZ SE mouse, and VPEsports names a Pulsar TenZ Signature Edition. Those listings identify the mouse associated with the profile, but they do not make it necessary. Choose a mouse for its shape, weight, sensor and connection type, then set the DPI you want.
Current availability, pricing and naming of the Pulsar model were not verified for this guide. Check the manufacturer’s site before buying.

What this guide does not establish
- It does not confirm TenZ’s current DPI or sensitivity. The only dated confirmation found is Riot’s patch history, which covers how raw input works in the client, not any player’s personal settings.
- It does not show that copying a professional’s sensitivity improves performance.
- It is not based on first-hand testing of any of the profiles listed above.
Use the published values as reference points, and build your own eDPI from the steps above.
