On paper, the realme 15 5G has the larger battery, the faster 144Hz display and the 50MP front camera, while the realme P3 Ultra 5G lists the more performance-oriented chipset and 4K 60fps rear video. Whether one costs less than the other today cannot be settled from the official material available, so the price section below explains what can be compared and how to do it yourself.
Specifications side by side
The figures below come from realme’s India product specification pages (undated, accessed in 2026) and the launch announcements. They describe listed hardware and recording modes, not independent test results.

Performance: chipset differences and their limits
The P3 Ultra uses the Dimensity 8350 Ultra, which realme positions above the Dimensity 7300+ in the realme 15. That is the clearest hardware gap between the two. Neither official page provides independent benchmark, sustained-gaming or thermal results for a like-for-like test, so a chipset tier tells you what to expect in principle, not how fast either phone will feel in your daily use. Any benchmark scores or frame-rate claims on realme’s product and launch pages are manufacturer claims and should be read as such.

Display: refresh rate and panel size
The realme 15 lists up to 144Hz, against up to 120Hz on the P3 Ultra. Both panels are similar in size, with the P3 Ultra listed at 6.83 inches and the realme 15 at 6.8 inches, and both list 2800-pixel-wide resolutions. The higher refresh rate is the more visible difference on paper. Whether you notice it depends on the apps and content you use, and whether the phone switches refresh rates in the way you expect is something the listings do not describe.
Battery and charging
The realme 15 lists a typical battery capacity of 7000mAh, compared with 6000mAh (typ) for the P3 Ultra, which is a meaningful difference in capacity. Capacity alone does not determine how long a phone lasts, because software and chipset efficiency also matter, and no independent endurance test is available for either model. Both official pages list 80W charging, so wattage does not separate them.
Cameras
Both phones list a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8MP secondary rear camera. The P3 Ultra uses a Sony IMX896 sensor and the realme 15 a Sony IMX882. The secondary camera is labelled ultra-wide on one page and wide-angle on the other, so compare the field of view in sample photos rather than the label.

- Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset: The Realme GT6 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, designed to easily handle high load scenarios in gaming, providing smooth multitasking performance and excellent energy efficiency. Users can flexibly control device performance between 50% and 100% by adjusting CPU and GPU performance settings to meet different needs.
- Ultra bright display technology: The GT6 uses cutting-edge luminescent materials to create an easy to read and visually stunning screen experience. Its ultra-high brightness display screen (up to 6000 nits) and 2160 Hz PWM dimming function not only improve viewing comfort, but also ensure the accuracy of color display.
- Top of the line Sony LYT-808 OIS camera: The GT6 is equipped with an industry-leading 1/1.4-inch large-sized sensor, providing unparalleled performance for night photography. With the HyperTone imaging engine, realistic colors and delicate light and shadow contrasts can be captured in both bright and dim environments. Super OIS technology further enhances image stability and clarity, improving the success rate of shooting.
- Iceberg Steam Cooling System: By combining 10014 square millimeters of 3D tempered dual VC heat dissipation plates and a 9-layer cooling structure, coupled with side full zone cooling design, GT6 achieves efficient and consistent high-performance gaming experience, while significantly reducing heat perception and ensuring temperature control during long-term gaming.
- Intelligent prediction and personalized advice: The built-in artificial intelligence can identify your usage habits, predict your needs, and provide accurate advice. For example, when you long press the text to book a hotel, the AI will automatically pop up a series of map prompts to help you quickly find the best route to your destination.
Front camera
The realme 15 lists a 50MP front camera, roughly three times the 16MP listed on the P3 Ultra. For selfie-heavy use this is the most obvious spec advantage of the realme 15, though resolution figures alone do not establish image quality.
Video modes
The P3 Ultra lists rear recording up to 4K at 60fps and front recording up to 1080p at 60fps. The realme 15 lists 4K at 30fps for both front and rear. If smooth rear footage matters to you, the P3 Ultra’s listed mode is the stronger one; the realme 15’s front 4K mode is the stronger selfie-video option on paper.
Software
Both India pages list realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Update commitments for either model are not described in the material used here. Check realme’s current update policy for your specific model before relying on a particular Android version or security-patch schedule.

The historical P3 Ultra promotion
realme India advertised the P3 Ultra at ₹26,999 during a promotion running April 9–13, 2025. That was a limited-time sale price from that period, not a current selling price, and it does not establish a current gap with the realme 15.
Quick Recap
How to compare prices like for like
- Pick the same RAM and storage configuration for both phones. Two variants of the same model often have different prices.
- Open the product page on realme’s India website and the retailer listing you plan to use, and note the listed selling price and the date you checked it.
- Separate the selling price from bank, exchange, and other conditional offers. Record the price with and without each offer, since a discount that needs a specific card or trade-in may not apply to you.
- Check whether each listing includes the same items. Both official pages list a charger, cable and protective case in the box, but retailers can bundle differently.
- Check stock. Both phones were launched in 2025, so a listing may be discontinued, refurbished or replaced by a newer model.
Which one to choose
- Choose the realme 15 5G if battery capacity, the faster 144Hz display and selfie camera resolution are your priorities.
- Choose the realme P3 Ultra 5G if you want the higher-tier chipset on paper and the listed 4K 60fps rear video mode.
- In either case, decide on the price only after comparing the same memory configuration at the same time.
