TeamGantt is the more schedule-centered choice; Wrike puts Gantt charts inside a broader work-management platform. The practical difference is also how you pay: TeamGantt Business is priced around projects, while Wrike’s listed Team and Business rates are per user. Compare the projects and seats you actually need, then check that the required scheduling controls, integrations, and advanced features are included in the plan.
How TeamGantt and Wrike differ
TeamGantt foregrounds visual project scheduling: its feature list includes Gantt, list, board, and calendar views, dependencies, planned-versus-actual timelines, critical paths, milestones, and resource management. Wrike offers Gantt charts as part of a wider work-management setup, with higher-tier plans adding capabilities such as advanced resource and capacity planning and budget tracking.

These are vendor-described capabilities, not findings from an independent head-to-head test. There is no basis here to say one service is objectively faster, more productive, or better for every team. TeamGantt’s own buyer guide is also vendor-authored, so treat its comparisons as the company’s framing rather than independent evaluation.

Pricing: per project versus per user
As listed on the vendors’ pricing pages accessed in 2026, TeamGantt Business starts at $120 per month or $1,140 per year and includes five projects. Each additional project is listed at $24 per month or $228 per year. Wrike lists Team at $10 per user per month and Business at $25 per user per month, with both rates shown on an annual per-user billing basis. Wrike says these rates apply to qualifying new purchases from January 21, 2026; existing customers should not assume they automatically receive them.

Prices and plan details are vendor listings, not an independent price audit. Confirm currency, taxes, availability, and checkout terms for your location. The figures are not directly comparable without assumptions about paid seats, concurrent projects, billing period, and plan requirements. In particular, multiplying Wrike’s per-user rate or TeamGantt’s base price into a team total can mislead if the team needs more projects, different tiers, or add-ons.
Free and trial terms
TeamGantt Personal is a tightly limited free option: the vendor lists one user, one project, and 40 tasks, and describes basic Gantt features including dependencies and drag-and-drop scheduling. TeamGantt says paid plans have a 14-day trial that requires a credit card and converts to paid billing unless cancelled or downgraded. Wrike’s pricing page says its displayed paid plans can be tried without a credit card. Verify trial terms at signup because vendor offers can change.

A connector’s name alone does not establish that it fits your workflow. Before choosing, verify whether each required connection is included in the plan, whether it is native or an add-on, and which direction information syncs. Neither catalog is categorically better for every organization; the relevant question is whether your actual stack is supported on the plan you can buy.
Which one fits your team?
TeamGantt may fit when scheduling is the main job
- Your team primarily needs a shared visual timeline and wants schedule changes reflected across several views.
- Dependencies, lead or lag times, milestones, critical paths, or planned-versus-actual tracking are central to project control.
- You need to think in project capacity and can check whether the project allowance and required features match your plan.
- Your work involves construction-oriented scheduling needs such as procurement tracking or subcontractor schedule confirmations, subject to plan availability.
Wrike may fit when the timeline is one part of a larger system
- You need Gantt charts alongside customizable workflows, integrations, or broader reporting and work-management functions.
- Your team evaluates costs by paid seat and is prepared to account for annual billing and the number of users.
- Advanced capacity planning or budget tracking matters and you can verify the Pinnacle plan’s fit and terms.
- Your integrations, such as a listed business connector, are available at the plan level you intend to purchase.
A practical way to make the choice
- Count the work. List concurrent and expected projects, paid users, occasional collaborators, and external stakeholders. This prevents a project-based price from being compared with a per-seat rate as if they covered the same scope.
- Write down the schedule controls you need. Mark dependencies, lead/lag, critical paths, baselines or planned-versus-actual views, milestones, and resource views as essential or optional.
- List requirements beyond the Gantt chart. Include workflow customization, dashboards, approvals, reporting, automation, budgets, and capacity planning. Match each requirement to a named plan before comparing prices.
- Check every integration. Confirm the connector, its direction of sync, and whether it is included, plan-gated, or an add-on.
- Compare the same billing assumptions. Use the actual number of seats and projects, the same billing period, and the features each team needs. Confirm location-specific pricing and terms at checkout.
- Review trial and procurement conditions. Account for TeamGantt’s stated card-required trial and automatic paid conversion unless cancelled or downgraded, and confirm Wrike’s current no-card trial terms before signup.
