Engineers—not the AI—remain responsible for deciding what to do in production. Its published workflow is a demo and design account, not independent proof of production readiness or improved incident outcomes.
What RecallOps is designed to do
Incident knowledge can be scattered across closed tickets, chat threads, and engineers’ memories. RecallOps aims to make one recurring question easier to investigate: have we seen something like this before, and what did we learn?

In the workflow described by builder Alekhya Allatipalli, Hindsight provides retain and recall operations for agent memory. RecallOps attempts to retrieve relevant incident history when a new incident is opened, then presents that history alongside the current incident’s evidence. After engineers resolve an incident, its outcome can be retained for future recall. The intended loop is incident → recall → AI investigation → resolve → retain → reflect.

- Open and inspect the current incident. The workspace presents the incident and its current signals for investigation.
- Recall related history. RecallOps attempts to find similar past incidents and shows the match, similarity score, and reasons for the match.
- Compare evidence. Engineers can inspect current and historical evidence separately rather than treating a past explanation as a current fact.
- Follow an investigation path. AI analysis can propose checks based on the available evidence and recalled history.
- Resolve and retain. After the incident is resolved, the outcome can be saved so a future investigation has more context.
The author says RecallOps does not change production systems automatically. Its role is to surface context and recommendations; an engineer controls the investigation and any production action.

What the demo’s incident match shows
In Allatipalli’s 2026 demo, current incident INC-017 is a Payment API database timeout. RecallOps retrieves INC-001 as its top historical match and displays a 91% similarity score. The reported match reasons include the same service and service family, similar symptoms, database behavior, and timing.
The demo describes INC-001 as a Payment API database timeout caused by connection-pool exhaustion from a connection leak. Its recorded resolution was to fix the leak and increase pool capacity. For INC-017, the displayed current evidence includes 98% connection utilization, a 14.2% timeout rate, and a deployment 23 minutes before the described evidence. The historical incident is a useful lead, but those figures do not establish that INC-017 had the same root cause.

- Udderly hilarious board game for family and friends game nights. Fun for big groups of 4-20+ players
- Easy to learn, quick to play and endlessly repayable board game. This version comes with 20 extra questions
- Think the same to win the game. Flip over a question and guess what your family and friends are thinking
- If your answer is in the majority, you win cows. If you’re the odd one out, you’re stuck with the pink cow of doom
- One of the best board games for families, adults, teens and kids aged 10+. Perfect icebreaker game. Easy and fun for everyone! Perfect as a Thanksgiving or Christmas game
The author’s example investigation recommendation is to check whether the recent deployment introduced a new leak, rather than assume the old incident’s cause recurred. That distinction is central to using incident memory safely: retrieval provides a hypothesis and its provenance; current telemetry and investigation must test it.

What happens if the memory provider is unavailable
The described application has a fallback path: if Hindsight is unavailable, it can use its own persisted incident data and mark the response as degraded. This is presented as intended behavior, not a live-verified test of a remote Hindsight service. A degraded response should therefore be read as a signal that the memory result may be limited, not as confirmation that the full recall path worked.
Architecture and what was verified
Allatipalli describes a React/Vite frontend, a FastAPI/Python backend using SQLAlchemy, SQLite for the verified local demo, and an architecture intended to support PostgreSQL. The application also uses Hindsight for memory, with a database fallback, and Groq/OpenAI-compatible structured completion with a deterministic fallback when live credentials are unavailable.

- MULTIPLE WAYS TO WIN: The Conspiracy wins by pulling off the murder Plot at a specific location or secretly sabotaging and setting off traps. The Friends win by disarming all the traps, or if that fails, solving the WHO, WHERE, and WHAT of the secret Plot
The author reports checking the frontend build, backend startup and API health, browser end-to-end demo workflow, SQLite persistence, backend tests, memory recall, retention, learning/reflection, responsive behavior, and accessibility. The verified demo used SQLite and deterministic AI fallback. Production PostgreSQL deployment, a remote Hindsight service, and live Groq/OpenAI inference were not live-verified. No performance benchmark was run, so the published account does not establish a reduction in mean time to resolution (MTTR), improved reliability, or production readiness.

How to evaluate an incident-memory copilot
RecallOps illustrates a useful design approach, but a similarity score alone is not enough to judge whether an incident-memory tool is dependable. When evaluating this kind of system, check whether it:
