Account for autosaves before taking a break
A TrueAchievements walkthrough reports that the game has no manual save function and that autosaves usually happen when entering a new location (TrueAchievements walkthrough). Since that is a third-party guide’s description, treat it as practical guidance rather than a guarantee about every build or platform. Do not count on making a manual save to preserve a dialogue choice or other specific state.
Use objectives and inventory to stay oriented
The walkthrough’s Xbox-style controller mapping assigns the Back button to open objectives and inventory, with LT switching between those views. The left stick moves Howard and also moves the pointer while examining objects. These mappings are useful if you are using that layout, but they are not a keyboard-control guide or a claim that every platform uses identical inputs.

Interact deliberately
In the same controller layout, A interacts with characters and objects, selects options, and enters or exits screens. X is used to crouch or pick up objects while examining others; B leaves menus or object close-ups; RT runs; and Start pauses. Use the on-screen prompts if your controls differ.
What to expect from stealth
Stealth and sneaking are confirmed features, but the official descriptions and walkthrough information available here do not establish universal detection rules, patrol patterns, vision ranges, or guaranteed routes. Avoid assuming that a timing trick or path works everywhere. In a stealth section, inspect the scene, note the immediate objective, and use the game’s available movement and interaction prompts; treat advice about a particular route as scene-specific unless it is documented for that encounter.

Steam lists 26 achievements. The TrueAchievements walkthrough marks 21 of those 26 as missable and estimates three playthroughs for its completion route. Those figures describe that guide’s Xbox-oriented assessment, not a universal requirement across platforms; the guide’s route is an option for completion-focused players, not a mandatory way to experience the story.
