The TABYIK DH-CS01 is quiet, lightweight, and small enough for a bedroom, closet, or office—but it removes moisture slowly. In RTINGS’ September 2026 test, it collected just 0.4 pints (0.2 L) per day under the test conditions. That makes it a light-duty option for a small enclosed space, not a practical fix for a large room, basement, or persistent dampness.
How well does the TABYIK DH-CS01 remove moisture?
Moisture removal is the DH-CS01’s main limitation. RTINGS tested it at 0.4 pints (0.2 L) per day while reducing relative humidity from 70% to 40% at 77°F. RTINGS describes the result as very limited and says lowering humidity can take a long time, even in smaller spaces. That figure is a result from RTINGS’ stated test conditions, not a guarantee of daily collection in every room.

The DH-CS01 is best considered for light moisture control in a small, enclosed space. RTINGS says it struggles in larger or particularly damp rooms and is a poor fit for large rooms and basements. If you are trying to address persistent dampness, this unit’s tested capacity is a poor match for the job.

RTINGS measured 38.1 dBA at both listed fan settings; the unit has a single fan speed. The review considers that noise level suitable for a bedroom or office. Its reported dimensions are 10.0 × 6.0 × 6.0 inches, and it weighs 2.5 lb, so it is easy to move and place where space is limited.

What are the tank and controls like?
The DH-CS01 has a 1 L (0.3 gal) tank. It shuts off automatically when full, but it has no pump or continuous-drain option, so you must empty the tank by hand. How often that is necessary depends on how much moisture it collects.
Controls are basic: RTINGS reports no humidistat, app, or remote control. The unit therefore cannot automatically maintain a chosen humidity level. Its airflow is 9 CFM, and RTINGS measured power use at 34 W. These are independent test figures, not manufacturer ratings.

What do the manufacturer’s specifications say?
The TABYIK instruction manual identifies the appliance as the DH-CS01 and lists DC 12 V and 40 W as its rated voltage and power. The 40 W rating is not the same as RTINGS’ measured 34 W consumption; the two figures come from different sources and describe different things. The manual also cautions that performance is affected by low temperature and low humidity, and says the dehumidifying effect is not obvious below 8°C (47°F). That temperature guidance comes from the manufacturer, not an independent test.
Who should consider the DH-CS01—and who should look elsewhere?
It may suit a small, lightly damp space
Consider it if your priority is a compact, quiet appliance for light moisture control and you can accept slow water removal, manual tank emptying, and simple controls. The combination of 2.5 lb weight and small dimensions makes it convenient to relocate.

Choose a higher-capacity category for substantial dampness
For a large room, basement, or ongoing humidity problem, look for a dehumidifier with substantially greater moisture-removal capacity and, if useful, a humidistat and continuous drainage. RTINGS’ comparison names the Midea MAD20S1QWT as substantially more capable for larger rooms or persistent humidity, with a humidistat and continuous drainage. It also describes the AGLucky OL12D-D023B as a better fit when the goal is to meaningfully lower humidity in a small room. The TABYIK DH-CS01 makes sense only when compact size and low noise matter more than speed. RTINGS’ measured 0.4-pint-per-day removal rate is too limited to recommend it for serious dampness or larger spaces. For those problems, start with a higher-capacity dehumidifier rather than expecting this small unit to catch up.
