To stop Samsung Wallet from launching when you swipe up, open Samsung Wallet and go to Menu > Settings > Quick access. Turn off the switch for each screen location where you do not want the shortcut. If you mean a Wallet icon on the Lock screen rather than the swipe-up gesture, remove that separately in the Lock screen shortcut settings.

Tap Quick access. On some versions, the option may be labeled Quick access and default card.

Turn off the switch for the location where Wallet opens unexpectedly: Lock screen, Home screen, or Screen off, if those options appear. To disable the gesture everywhere, turn off every enabled location switch.

Try the same swipe that previously opened Wallet. If the Wallet icon still appears on the Lock screen, follow the separate shortcut steps below.

Samsung’s US instructions use the path Menu > Settings > Quick Access; its UK instructions describe the equivalent route for Samsung Wallet. Menu names and available controls can differ by region, phone model, carrier, and software version.

A Lock screen app icon is a different shortcut from Wallet’s swipe-up Quick access gesture. To remove the icon, use the Lock screen shortcut editor:

Wake the phone and touch and hold the Lock screen. Authenticate if prompted.

Tap the shortcut assigned to Samsung Wallet.

Select No app, then tap Done.

Quick access shortcut versus Quick access cards
Turning off a location switch disables the shortcut that launches Wallet from that location. It does not simply remove a card from Wallet’s Quick access card list. Samsung treats the per-location shortcut settings and card-list editing as separate controls; its Quick access card instructions explain both.

Check each location switch individually; disabling the Lock screen option does not necessarily disable the Home screen or screen-off shortcut.

If the swipe gesture no longer opens Wallet but its Lock screen icon remains, remove the icon in the Lock screen editor rather than changing Wallet’s gesture settings again.

If your menus differ, use the Samsung support page for your region. The route and available controls are not identical on every model or software version.
