Which modes are in Star Wars Galactic Racer?
The official launch article lists three game modes:

These names are distinct from multiplayer formats mentioned in platform listings and coverage. The available sources do not fully map how PvP or Tour fits alongside Campaign, Scenario and Arcade.
How does Campaign mode work?
Campaign is a solo story route through events in the Galactic League, an unsanctioned Outer Rim racing circuit. Rather than following one fixed sequence, players choose events as they progress through a tour. The tour is a run: too many crashes can eliminate the player and end that attempt.

After a failed tour, players regroup and start again. Some perks and unlocks carry over from previous attempts, while a new tour brings fresh decisions. That makes Campaign a mix of risk management and replay-based progression: a crash can cut short the current run, but it does not necessarily erase everything earned across earlier attempts.
What is Scenario mode?
Scenario is confirmed as one of the three official modes, but the launch article does not describe its objectives, event structure, progression or replay rules. It is not possible to say from the published details whether scenarios are standalone challenges, story episodes or another kind of race. Treat any more specific description as unconfirmed unless the game or a fuller official guide provides it.

What is Arcade mode?
Arcade is also an official mode, but its overall rules are not laid out in the cited descriptions. One narrower detail is available: the April 30, 2026 edition announcement says the Deluxe Edition includes three Arcade events designed for three specified bonus vehicles. Those events have target times and records for friends to beat. This describes the included bonus events; it should not be taken as a complete explanation of Arcade mode.

The Xbox listing describes strategic PvP grudge matches and specifies online multiplayer for 2–12 players on Xbox. That player range is a platform listing specification, not an independently tested performance result.

Separately, PC Gamer’s October 7, 2026 guide reports a multiplayer Tour format comprising six races, with players able to upgrade a speeder over the course of that tour. That six-race description is secondary reporting, not a complete official definition of the game’s modes. The available descriptions do not establish whether multiplayer Tour is a playlist within one of the three named modes or a separate format.
