SpaceX’s CRS-35 cargo mission is scheduled to lift off at 6:33 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. NASA’s launch coverage is set to begin at 6:15 a.m. EDT, with a live stream and blog updates on NASA’s mission advisory. The schedule is a target and may change with operations, so check NASA or SpaceX close to launch.
When is the SpaceX CRS-35 launch?
NASA and SpaceX are targeting 6:33 a.m. EDT Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, for a Falcon 9 rocket to send the Dragon cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). How to watch the launch live
| Option | Coverage start | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| NASA website | 6:15 a.m. EDT, according to NASA | Live launch stream and blog updates; NASA+ on-demand video and launch photos are expected shortly after liftoff. |
| SpaceX mission page and X account | About 20 minutes before liftoff, according to SpaceX | SpaceX’s webcast. Its mission listing is available at SpaceX’s CRS-35 mission page. |
| Space.com | 6:15 a.m. EDT, according to its Oct. 12 viewing article | Its page carries NASA’s stream: Space.com’s viewing guide. |
NASA’s advisory is the clearest reference for the announced coverage schedule. NASA+ video and photos are expected after liftoff, rather than as the primary live-launch viewing route. No paid service is needed to watch the public NASA and SpaceX streams.

What CRS-35 is carrying to the space station
CRS-35 is SpaceX’s 35th Commercial Resupply Services mission to the ISS for NASA. NASA says Dragon is carrying more than 6,300 pounds of supplies, station hardware and research cargo. The planned payload includes the final pair of International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Arrays (IROSA), which will augment the station’s power system, along with maintenance and life-support equipment.
Other cargo supports investigations into artificial-retina manufacturing, heart tissue, unconventional glass and brain disease. These are planned deliveries and research objectives; they are not results from the experiments. NASA’s CRS-35 mission overview describes four of the investigations:

- UNASSEMBLED HOBBY MODEL KIT – with easy to follow instructions. Ideal for ages 14 and up.
- NO GLUE OR SOLDER NEEDED – Parts can be easily clipped from the metal sheets. Bundle includes tweezers, which are recommended for bending and twisting the connection tabs.
- PREMIUM SERIES INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION - 3 Sheet Model with a challenging difficulty level. Once assembled, dimensions are 7.75 L x 5.76 W x 4.53 H inches.
- FROM STEEL SHEETS TO 3D – Pop out the pieces and connect using tabs and holes. Includes illustrated instructions.
- HIGHLY DETAILED ETCHED MODEL – Display your 3D model once completed - collect and build them all.
- LambdaVision-1: Tests whether artificial retinas can be manufactured layer by layer in microgravity. The work could support future implants for retinal diseases, but it does not establish a treatment.
- Stellar Spheroids: Examines how microgravity affects three-dimensional human heart-tissue models and whether it helps form advanced vascular networks. The research may inform disease studies and drug testing.
- ELF-Unconventional Glass 2: Studies glass made from non-traditional elements in microgravity. The samples are planned to return to Earth for analysis.
- MINDS: Studies brain organoids and inflammation associated with neurodegenerative disease, with the goal of identifying possible treatment targets.
NASA says the ISS research program has supported more than 4,000 microgravity experiments, involved scientists from more than 110 countries and extended across more than 25 years. Those figures describe the station’s broader research program, not CRS-35 alone.

NASA’s Oct. 7 advisory projects Dragon’s autonomous docking for about 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, Oct. 15, at the space-facing port of the ISS’s Harmony module. That is a separate milestone from the Oct. 13 launch and is also subject to schedule change.
