Solana is a blockchain network that can carry payments; Remittix describes a service that converts cryptocurrency into a fiat bank payout. They operate at different layers, so the key question is not simply which one is faster or cheaper: it is whether the recipient should receive crypto in a wallet or local currency in a bank account.
What each one does
Solana is a blockchain rail and ecosystem. A sender uses a wallet to sign an on-chain transfer of SOL or a supported token to another wallet. Merchant software can use Solana payment tools to accept and track those transfers.

Remittix describes a crypto-to-fiat payout service: the sender funds a payment with cryptocurrency, and the intended recipient is meant to receive fiat in a bank account through local payment networks. That is a service design claim, not proof that a particular payout corridor is live or available.

How the payment reaches the recipient
| Question | Solana | Remittix |
|---|---|---|
| What does the sender use? | A wallet signs an on-chain SOL or token transfer; the asset depends on the implementation. | The site says the sender connects a crypto wallet and funds the payment with cryptocurrency. |
| What is the recipient meant to receive? | The specified token at a wallet address. Receiving fiat requires a separate conversion service or integration. | A fiat bank transfer through local payment networks, according to the project. |
| Where does integration happen? | In a wallet, merchant site, or business system using a Solana integration. | Remittix says its service handles conversion and payout; its live technical and banking integrations have not been independently established. |
That difference matters in practice. A Solana transfer puts the recipient in control of a digital asset, but the recipient needs a compatible wallet and may need a separate route to spend or convert it. Remittix’s stated model aims to spare the recipient from handling the originating crypto, but depends on the service supporting the recipient’s country, bank, and currency.

Ways to accept payments on Solana
Solana’s payment documentation lists several integration paths, from ready-made components to custom transfers. Its Developer Platform also describes on-chain transfers, batch payments, public payment requests, and fiat on- and off-ramps through partners.
- PaymentButton: a component for React applications.
- Pay.sh: a route for paid APIs and subscriptions.
- Solana Pay: QR-code payments and payment links.
- Direct RPC: a lower-level option for custom payment flows.
Choosing an integration does not remove the need to reconcile incoming payments. The Developer Platform’s acceptance overview says it indexes inbound transfers and provides status reads and balance checks. It also says SDP has no checkout-session or payment-intent object and no settlement webhooks. An implementation using SDP may therefore need to match transfers by address and poll for status. This limitation is specific to SDP; it should not be generalized to every Solana payment application.

What Remittix advertises—and what remains unverified
Remittix advertises payouts in more than 30 currencies, “Zero FX fees,” a flat fee, and same-day processing. These are claims on the project’s site, not independently verified coverage, pricing, or settlement results. A “zero FX fee” claim alone also does not establish the total cost: the recipient’s exchange rate, other charges, and any corridor-specific conditions matter.
The project’s surfaced roadmap includes wallet beta and full-wallet stages, testnet, and full product launch. The page also contains inconsistent promotional and roadmap language, so a banner or presale counter is not enough to establish current availability. The actual supported countries and corridors, payout partners, fee schedule, and product status are not established here.

There is no matched, independently verified comparison here for end-to-end payment speed, total cost, or recipient coverage. A blockchain transfer time or network fee by itself would not answer how long a complete payment takes or what it costs the recipient to access the money. Compare the whole path, from sender funding through final receipt.
